Is this a furnace? Do you have a model number? And is there a reference for the red code flashing on the board usually found on one of the panels.

Gibson furnace blinking 4 times then pauses, flame won't stay on

The four flashes is failure of ignition. It could be the flame sensor dirty. The furnace tries to light four times before you get the four flashes. The board then locks out for one hour unless the power is removed and restored. You could try gently cleaning the flame sensor with fine steel wool. If you don't have fine wool you can use a crisp dollar bill.
with the burner firing the yellow flame sense indicator should be pretty much locked on or flicker briefly. If it just occasionally flashes on then the flame sensor rod needs to be cleaned.
hope this helps you.

Our nordyne furnace yellow low flame light is flashing. What does that mean. We just replaced the pressure switch.

A flashing yellow light means poor flame sensing. This is usually caused by the flame sensor being dirty and/ or the burner being rus ty or corroded. Remove the flame sensor, located opposite of the ignitor, and clean with sand paper or steel wool. If this does not fix the problem the burners may need to be cleaned. I recommend a trained HVAC person do this. This is a picture of a flame sensor

How to fix a pressure switch on a goodman Gms807034ana

Since the burners light this eliminates the pressure switch as the problem. Typically when the burners come on and shut off quickly a flame sensor, ground problem or the limit switch tripping are the main reasons. Since the flame sensor has been replaced, check the limit switch

Burner ignites but shuts off 2 seconds later?red light blinks 7 times in a row?no heat.

If your pressure switch has ever been replaced, make sure that it was replaced with an OEM pressure switch, because it can cause some strange behavior on your furnace. No blinks normal running igniter glows gas comes on wont run

Check for 24 volts across the gas valve when Ignitor is glowing. If no, bad board. If yes, bad gas valve or blockage.
On a call for heat, the 24 volt thermostat sends a signal to the control module. The control module will indicate a call for heat with a light on the control either blinking or remain solid depending upon model. The inducer (exhaust) blower will purge all gasses from the furnace and pressurize a pressure switch. Once the pressure switch tells the module to continue, the electronic ignition will energize and send 120 volts to the igniter. The igniter will glow and you will be able to see it if viewed thru the small inspection port. Once the igniter gets hot enough, it sends a signal to the module opening up the gas valve (24 volts). Either a pilot will come on or the burner tube will ignite then spread the flame to all burners. Lastly a safety sensor will be looking for a certain temperature within a few seconds and the furnace will continue to operate and the room air blower will turn on in a minute or two.

What could go wrong? The unit will not run if there is no signal from the thermostat (bad thermostat or broken wire), the control module does not sense a signal from the thermostat (bad control), the inducer does not energize (bad motor), the pressure switch does not close (blocked vent piping, bad switch, plugged condensate hose), the igniter does not energize (bad control, bad igniter), the gas valve does not open or there is no gas (bad gas valve, broken wire, no gas), the pilot does not light (dirty pilot), the burner does not light (bad burner, plugged orifice, not enough combustion air), the flame does not spread to each burner (bad flame spreader, dirty flame spreader, more bad burners), the flame safety sensor does not detect flame (dirty or bad flame spreader, bad flame sensor, broken wire, bad control), or the room air blower does not energize (bad fan motor, bad control).

Furnace was not coming on red light was blinking once now its working wondering what the one blink means cant find my manual

One blink does not tell you much, it tried 3 times to start and did not.

The control module will indicate a call for heat with a light on the control either blinking or remain solid depending upon model. The inducer (exhaust) blower will purge all gasses from the furnace and pressurize a pressure switch. New furnace, installed last October - has run approximately 3 months at the most. Have had to replace pressure switches, and again it is not working....will not ignite, but blower fan runs a pushes cold...

It's possible that the pressure switch is doing what it was designed to do, shut the burner off if there is a restriction in the vent system. Your problem may be intermittent, and is caused by wind blowing across your roof in a specific direction. Rarely, but on occasion I have seen this happen, the wind creates pressure on your vent pipe and prevents the pressure switch from closing. A directional cap (similar to  a wind rotating chimney cap) may be required. Good luck and let me know if this helps.

Your furnace has a diagnostic chart on the reverse of the lower panel incorporated in the wiring diagram. One blink tells you that it is a failure but wont tell you where to start looking.

Igniter does not turn on

need more info....Remove the front panel and look for a sticker that will tell you what the Diagnostic flash codes are...3 . 4 . 5....etc...I service many funaces and cant memorize all the codes..lol...we always need the \manual....What does the furnace do??...Turn the power off (after you observe the code)...then turn it back on with a call for heat....What happens????The exhaust fan starts......then the ignitor starts glowing....etc.////this info is more important than flashing codes

15 year old goodman heater is cycling. heating element glows red and the burners turn on for 20 seconds and then goes out. fan is in the on position . after the first light the element turns red but...

Sounds like the flame is either not traveling to the flame sensor or the flame sensor is dirty or bad. Look to the far left of the burner box for a probe near a burner. Lightly scrape and debris from the probe. The probe will have only one wire going to it. Do not touch the igniter or it will break.
