Not a complete solution, but, around the last page (pg. 14) of your converter box manual there are codes listed for universal remotes. I happen to have a Philips remote that is listed. My code to control my dtv box is 0354. It appears that they have all codes listed for all Radioshack model universal remotes. I would suggest getting a Radioshack remote for Your "Digital Stream" (Radioshack) dtv box...

Problem has not be resolved, but after reading your response I understand that you are offering me help but at a cost., I find that unbelievable because I just purchased this TV haven't had it 2 weeks., and you can't even tell me if there any more codes to try and make my digital cable service remote work. If this is what you are telling me, then I will surely add my comments to your web site. Thanks for standing behind your product.

The converter box should work. Getting the remote to work with the TV might be a challenge. You might have to stick with two remotes. It used to be in the old days you could plug your tv power into the remote that way you would turn the tv on with the tuner remote but I be they stop doing that.

We have a Haier TV model 3 HL32R2a, the cable remote no longer turns the set off or on or controls the volume. We can only do that with the tv remote. Tried putting in the universal code, and the Haier code and it didn't work. Please help.
