Missil mp3 player frozen

Was listening to my Missil mp3 player and it just froze - been sitting on the hourglass icon ever since. Tried restarting, tried hooking it to the computer. Nothing is helping. When hooked to the computer it shows as an unknown device w/out drivers. Help!

It is possible that firmware has become corrupt. Try re-installing the firmware.

My mp3 frozen on the welcome screen and restart and freeze again

First reset the Sansa e260. The way you do this is you hold down the power (menu) button for 15-25 seconds. This usually solves it.

Good Luck,

Hourglass frozen on screen!!

Try and plug it in your computer once again and see if the hour glass budges. Then safely remove it by clicking the "Safely Remove Device" Icon on your PC tray (where the clock is on a PC)...

If not, theres probably a software reset hole at the back or sides of your mp4 player, try pushing it with a toothpick or similar pointed thing.

If all else fails, have it replaced...

Frozen

Mine froze in play position, but no sound.

Here's what worked for me. Mine is the Sansa M250

1)Plugged the player into the PC and removed all the MP3s

2)Downloaded update program from Sansa link below

http://www.sandisk.com/Retail/Default.aspx?CatID=1376

3) Install the program

4) Plug the Sansa into your PC.

5) Program automatically starts and allows you to check for software update. Do so and let the program update your player.

Fixed my freeze problem. Player working perfectly now.
Hope this helps.
