Dude i dont know if this will help you or not but the same thing happened to mine and im an electrician, so i took it apart and screwed around with it and everything seemed to be cool so i took it to a tv repair shop and they fixed it and it only cost me $65.00. he told me that the power supply motherboard burned out for good.

Tv makes a clicking sound when i turn it on but wont turn on

if just only clicking sound that was mean the cause either the regulator in the power supply is bad or the horizontal output transistor get damaged.

When turn on it blows the fuse

There must be a diode that is faulty in the power supply section mainly on of the rectifying diodes.
If you look closely at your board you will see four diodes that just after the fuse and befroe the Big capaictor(filter cap.) One of these four diodes must be faulty as the fuse keeps blowing. the diodes are responsible of current limitation drawback. So there must be current flowing back to the fuse that makes it keep blowing.
Check and replace. Good luck

Is there a reset button on the goldstar ma-782m I was boiling an egg and now it won't come on

No there is not a reset button. Most of the time when the microwave is in use and just quits either the Power Diode or the capacitor has failed and blows the fuse inside the cabinet.

With the unit unplugged and the chassis cover removed the fuse will be located at the end of the power cord lead in a fuse holder. The fuse is usually a 15A 250V slow-blo fuse. Just replacing the fuse will normally result in the fuse failing yet again.

STOP! Before going any further you must hold a well insulated screwdriver back on the handle and short across the High Voltage Capacitor at least 3 times! Failure to do so could be the start of a very bad day in the form of a horrible shock.

Next you disconnect one side of the cap including the power diode wire. With an analog meter set on R x 1,000 read the Cap terminals watching for a jump. Reverse the meter leads on the terminals and watch for a jump EACH time you reverse the test leads on the CAP terminals.

No jump = bad cap.
Constant resistance across the cap = bad cap

Lastly you check the power diode with the meter on the same settings R X 1,000. One direction will read full continuity (ZERO) and reversing the leads will read infinity. (no reading)

If the diode reads open both ways = failed
If the diode reads (ZERO) both ways = failed
It must read continuity in ONE direction only.

After finding and replacing the failed component then you can change the fuse and test the microwave.

There is a very very remote possibility that a door switch has failed but given that your microwave failed while in use I seriously doubt you have a door switch problem.

As far as finding replacement parts for your microwave nearly every appliance parts store will have what you need if you walk in with the failed part in hand. Most of the time they will walk back and grab the part you need without even digging in the parts books.

Thanks for choosing FixYa.

For some reason my capacitor wont charge, I've checked everything! I just bought a boss cap3.5b and I know for sure the fuse is working there is power coming from the battery and the cap is grounded...

get a small led or something that runs on 12 volts. i use my 5 dollar 12v test light and hold it to the positive cable thats gonna be hooked to my cap.
hook the other side to the cap, it will light up the test light and in a minute or two the light dims and then goes out, after its out , the cap is charged......JUST DONT LET IT TOUCH THE OPPOSITE WIRE WHEN YOU HOOK IT UP OR YOU DISCHARGE IT and its not funny

No power or red led fuse good .toshiba 27df46

Hello Hloggins, hi, your power supply is not producing the pulse needed to start the switching. check for the IC on the oscillator part of the power supply, you need an Oscilloscope to test this. if there is no scope. i suggest you replace the IC.

No Power

all sets must have rated fuse for protection. some units now use what is called a PICO-FUSE.this type of fuse is soldered into the pc board. usually marked with location i.d. F301,F901,F400. etc. these fuses look like resistors or in-line coils. check continuity w/ohm meter. if new fuse blows as soon as you plug in tv, suspect bridge diode ciruit or main filter cap(large ripple filter by main fuse. if new fuse blows when you try to turn on, suspect 130v regulator or high voltage short(horizontal-output, flyback transformer) good luck!

There is a difference between diodes and capacitors. The role of a diode is to rectify and some cases regulate voltages. Meanwhile, a capacitor is there to hold charges. Back to your question, to check an schottky diode, you need an ohmeter with a diode symbol, the reading starts like this .500, .600, .300. 125. still consider good forward bias. .1200 or infinite reverse bias is consider good still. But it shows 0 continuity then that diode is bad. You can also use ohm's law, resistance to also check a diode. Please e-mail me if you some further lesson at [email protected]

No power to radio in trk have 13.5 volts to radio 257 magnum

Ensure that the wiring is correct. Also make sure that the CB's AC is still functioning correctly. Charge your truck's batteries and test the CB on a fixed electrical output (indoor outlet). Also check to see if the power cord is the correct wattage output for the radio.

Hope this helps!

One more time vinyl wurlitzer juke

Assuming I am looking at the same diagram for a 'Compact' amp....the circuit you are looking at is unrelated to GL1.

The two diodes rectify 10VAC from the transformer to a rectified +12V DC which supplies the mechanism. To blow both diodes I can only assume that you have a dead short to ground or -Ve somewhere.

Check both diodes and fuse are good with the mechanism plug disconnected. You should get 12vdc at the cathode of the diodes.

I don't know about the diodes you are using but 1N4001 or 1N4002 or 1N4003 should work fine.

The 12VDC comes out on pin 2 and pin 4 of the mechanism plug. Make sure the diodes are the RIGHTway round or you'll end up with MINUS12V.

Tv does not have power. power cord is good and so is fuse, but no power in tv. led light on TV does not come on.

well check bridge diodes first probally more then one fuse also transitter leakey cap bad solder or open bad resistor trouble soot if you can not perform call service tech.
