I need to reset my touchscreen car radio everything froze and the screen just stopped working

Possible but may not be cost effective. Internet search for the part number on your screen is your only hope on this one.

You have the unit wired wrong. When you shut your key off the radio loses ALL power and it needs ACC power to maintain the memory. If not, the unit will reset itself. The screen you see is the touchscreen calibration screen. Just follow the " X " around the screen to 5. Then the unit will boot up again. You will have to reset radio stations and EQ and speaker settings. If you don't fix the ACC wire, you will have to do this A LOT!

Android is corrupted. You need to factory reset it. Hold volume down and home buttons while turning it on. You can let go of those buttons once the screen changes to the Android loading icon.

This will erase everything from your phone - so good idea to keep things backed up for incase it happens again.

Near as I can figure, this happens when:
- phone battery is allowed to die
- pull battery from phone when it is still shutting down (hard to tell when it's finish)

you have to reset the tablet to factory conditions. i was at my wits end before i did this. o stay away from opera, firefox, and chrome there are other browsers

Ok, a little more description is needed to help. When you say "froze", do you mean a dvd image froze on the screen or do you mean that all functions have ceased to operate. If you reset didn't work, you will need to old school it. Remove the radio from power completely for about 15 minutes and then reinstall. See if that helps. The other variables are how long you had the equipment, did you purchase new, did you buy from someone else, did you install or have it professionally installed. These are things that can help with warranty issues too. Good luck.

The problem with your MP4 Touchscreen is the storage (memory card). There could be some bad sectors in the storage that's why it was not detected by the computer everytime you're plugging it.

If the device is still under the warranty, you need to contact the manufacturer and have them repair it. Aside from replacing the storage, they also need to upgrade the firmware of your device.
