Question about Samsung DW7933LRABB

Why does dishwasher start, run 3 minutes, begin drain cycle then stop?

Display flashes HEAVY and START/AUTO buttons. Owners Manual says BUTTON ERROR. A previous email mentioned CASE BREAK ASSY? Cannot find a replacement part called a CASE BREAK ASSEMBLY on any of the popular appliance websites. Can you please elaborate?

Thank for the advise however I purchased the case assembly ans sensor, installed them but it still has the same problem. Any other suggestions?

Well, you might have a clog or partial clog in the drain hose or drain pump. Then too, it could be the ECS sensor. Due to all the variables, maybe it's time to call a professional repairman. I recommend Sears Home Services - they are authorized Samsung repairmen.

Okay, maybe it's the spelling that's a problem. Try Case Brake Assembly, or Brake Case assembly. The part number (for your dishwasher) is DD94-01005A. It's available from SearsPartsDirect.com for about $54. You may also need the Case Sensor, part # DD94-01006A for about $44, but I would start with just the Case-Brake Assembly first. 90% of the time, that part alone will fix your problem.

I have a adg7560/1. the cycle starts but ends after a few minutes. the light flashes four times

Run the dishwasher through a test mode

Test Mode

Make sure the appliance is empty of water before running Diagnostics as it does not pump out before starting to fill and therefore you could overfill the appliance.
Open the door and set the program to the first program. (Normally rinse).
Turn the power off.
Press and hold the start button and while holding turn the power on.
After a little while the start button will flash, release the button.
Press the start button once and close the dishwasher door.
The machine will now run through a diagnostic routine.
Should take about 20 mins.
The machine will stop during diagnostics if an error is found and will display the error code. If no error is found it will complete the diagnostics and end the programme.

To exit diagnostics at any time just press and hold the start button till the programme is cancelled

Samsung dishwasher flashing heavy light

Had a look in the user manual for your dishwasher.http://downloadcenter.samsung.com/content/UM/201211/20121101114232459/DW7933LRASR-00141A-02.pdf

Page 26 shows blinking Heavy light means there is leakage in the dishwasher. Most likely there is water in the base under the drain sump which could cause the flood switch to trip. Turn mains power to dishwasher off. Pull it out from under kitchen bench without breaking the hoses. Put some towels on the floor and turn dishwasher back and forth on incline to get water out. Wait a little and turn on. If no difference then you need to dry the base and find the source of the leak. More likely the door seal.

Green start button won't stop blinking

START/RESET status indicator light flashing

You have pressed the indicator light flashing START/RESET pad while the START/RESET dishwasher is running. This will cancel the cycle. The light will stop flashing after the dishwasher drains (about 90 seconds).

Press the pad once to start the dishwasher. Press the pad a second time when the dishwasher is running only if you wish to cancel the cycle.

Power to the dishwasher was turned off while a cycle was running and power has just been restored to the dishwasher. The blinking lights indicate that the dishwasher is draining the potential water inside.

The light will stop flashing after the dishwasher drains. A new cycle will start automatically.

Good luck

Dishwashing cycle starts for about 3 minutes then flashing LE light comes on and the machine stops. Why?

Display Condition LE = Motor Error

Possible Cause For Error Occurrence:

Wiring connection is OK?
The Impeller of Washing Pump is locked.
The rotor of Washing Motor is locked.
The Blade is locked.

Remedy:

Check the wiring connection.
Replace the cause of restriction.
Replace the Washing Motor.
Replace the PCB.

Try the following steps:

Unplug the washing machine if you see an LE error on the two-digit display electronic readout. This error indicates a miscommunication between the control panel and wash motor.

Press and hold the "Start/Pause" button on the front panel for five seconds.

Plug the LG dishwasher back in.

Run a cycle. The LE code will clear.

What is causing the drain pump to continue running

C1 - Partially Blocked Drain - This error will occur when dishwasher was unable to pump out water in less than 95 seconds. Check drain line for debris and blockage. If clear, check for a restricted drain valve in the pump. Check the pressure sensor for correct operation as it sounds like it may be defective and thinks that the machine is still full of water after it has emptied.

F2 flashing on display screen washer won't continue cycle????

This means that the drain time has exceeded 8 minutes and the water valves have turned off. After 4 minutes the suds error is displayed then 4 minutes later the F2 error.
Potential causes
1.Check drain hose for kinks or cloggs
2.Check electrical connection at the pump and make sure the pump runs.
3.Check inside of pump for foreign objects
4.If none of the above fixes the machine replace the pump.

Error code 2H

The control panel needs to be replaced (indicated by the "2H" error code displayed at the start of the cycle).
BTW - The number 1 displayed at the end of the cycle indicates the cycle has timed out (i.e., it doesn't mean 1 minute remaining). Hence the continued running of the unit. Until you replace the control panel, you'll have to manually cancel the cycle at this point.
