Hi Norman:
I'd check the routing of the fuel lines.
Tank to carb (this is the line with the filter on it)
carb to bulb (suction side)
bulb to tank (return line)
If the connections appear correct but it does not pull gas, check the filter to make sure it is clean, and you can try reversing the connections on the bulb.
Hope this helps.
adjust need and seat or make sure needld a seat or seated right soundes like not should be no need to adjust needel sounds like put in wrong flip it over metal side go on needle
I know you checked the plug, but it can fire outside the cylinder and then not fire under compression. If you have compression, fuel, and spark at the right time you should get combustion.
Remove the in tank fuel filter and take it apart, the felt Echo uses on the filter clogs quickly. There is still a mesh screen filter in the assembly so make sure you put it all back together and reinstall the fuel filter into the tank.
Look for a very small black plug on carburetor,if you look at priming bulb it is thru the opening on metal plate that is closer to gas tank.Once you locate it remove with a sharp awl , heavy paper clip sharpened and bent like a hook or a very sharp small screw to pull it out. There is a small screw under it,Start engine and rotate it counter clock wise 1/4 turn or less at a time while accelerating once you get a smooth high acceleration you have finished. You do not need to replace plug, would suggest going to your nearest lawn service place to purchase fuel stabilizer and additive to resolve future ethanol problems.
Turn on ignition switch, Choke, prime bulb 5 times (or until fuel flows), hold throttle down and pull starter cord sharply until it tries to start, then place choke in mid position pull cord sharply again until it runs then move choke to off when it will allow it. Also you can go to toro.com then customer care, then manuals and parts then type in model no. and download an owners manual.
