Its not working as it says it should on the package

have you tried going to settings and configure your storage mediumto mem card instead of phone memory,some phones do this automatically maybe yours you have to do it manually

This process is not considered downloading but transfer, because you already have the music downloaded to your computer. You will need either Bluetooth or cable connections to connect your phone to your computer in order to make the transfer Bluetooth needs no cables but a little slower than cable connections. Connect your phone to your computer using the phone cable. or pair the computer Bluetooth with the phones Bluetooth this is easy if you already have Bluetooth on your computer such as if you use wireless keyboards and mouse, after select the songs you like to transfer and send them to a specific folder on your phone.

HI, it depends on the phone make you have...if your phone has facility to make use of USB cable, then you could use your USB cable.
this can be done by connecting the phone to the laptop and it will appear on the screen of your laptop just like the same way you connect a Flash to a computer....after your computer sees your phone, then you could happen the phone folder and drag music into it from your laptop...


but if your phone does not have USB, but has Bluetooth, and equally your laptop has bluetooth....you could just put on your phone bluetooth and select a song from your laptop and send it to your phone.

To do so there are more than 2 ways
1: Songs download via bluetooth:
Switch on the Bluetooth of your cell phone. Switch on the bluetooth of your laptop/other cell. Now pair your Laptop with cellphone:: go to start>control panel> my bluetooth places> pair device enter any passkey like 123456 when it prompt on your cellphone, enter the same 123456 on the cell as passkey and your cell will be paired with laptop/cellphone
Now select any sog on the laptop/cellphone, rightclick on it and select send to bluetooth. Accept the song reception on your cell. After download you ca see the song in cell's inbox.

2: Songs download via Cable.
Install the PC suite of youe cell phone on the Laptop/Desktop Restart the PC Connect the USB /Data cable between laptop/descktop and your cell Now explore the cell memory in PC suite and imply copy paste the songs on the memory of your cell

You have different options to use to put music on your phone.You could download songs from the internet directly to your phone or you could collect songs on your phone from another phone,laptop or system.Through a phone all you need to do is to put on your bluetooth and transfer,but through the system or laptop you could use the bluetooth too or you could use a usb cable to transfer songs.

Hi gentrycat22, you can out the songs on your phone by using a USB cable port connected from your celphone to your computer. Or if you have a friend that has a music on his/her cellphone, you can receive her song/s via bluetooth. Just enable the bluetooth on your cellphone and let your friend transmit the song that you have requested using bluetooth..

For this you have two ways.
* For this you need either a Card Reader or USB cable (compatible with your phone)

First: For this you need a Card Reader, if you dont't have that then move on to step two else follow the following steps:

1. Take out the memory card out from your mobile which will be a MicroSD.
2. Put your memory card in card reader, then connect your card reader with your computer
3. Open My Computer. There you will find a removable disk. and there you can paste your songs. Else follow step two.


Two:
1. Connect you mobile using USB cable (you must have got that with you mobile)
2. Connect USB with your computer (Be Carrefull)
3. You will get some promt on your mobile that should be Data Transfer
4. Now open up My Computer and there you will find Removable disk open that up and paste your songs.


You might get promt of Format Disk, you can format that but you will loose all data stored in your Memory card.

We get format drive promt when memory card gets corrupted.


** If it will take time to arrange Card Reader or USB cable then go for Bluetooth option.

You can use your different phone after updating required songs and use your bluetooth to transfer that in the mean time .

there are mainly 2 ways to download/transfersongs to your Moto V3 - USB cable & Bluetooth
(though you can also download from internet at the cost of airtime).

USB Cable:
- download and install this usb driver - http://direct.motorola.com/hellomoto/Common/Drivers%20and%20Plug%20ins/USB_Driver_32.zip
- connect the Motorola to the computer through USB cable.
Now you can copy/transfer songs from your computer.

Bluetooth:
Using Bluetooth you can transfer songs from any other Bluetooth device(other Mobile or computer which has Bluetooth)
- Switch On your V3's Bluetooth. Press Menu -> Setting & Tools -> Connections -> Bluetooth -> Setup -> Power -On

- Make your V3 visible to other device. Press Menu -> Setting & Tools -> Connections -> Bluetooth -> Setup -> Find Me

- Now from any other mobile(having Bluetooth), select any song, go to its options, select either Send/Copy which has option To Bluetooth (it'll prompt to switch On the Bluetooth, answer yes)

- click on Search for Device. this will find your V3 in few seconds.

- after this it may ask to set a password, set a 4 digit password, say 1111

- now your V3 will also ask to confirm the password, keyin 1111

- You can see the progress of your song transfer.
(for next song you'll only have to say Ok on V3, password etc. step only one time)

you can do that with ur USB cable or via Bluetooth

If you are in the UK, go to the carphone warehouse. If you are anywhere in America ect, go to any phone shop and ask for Motorola Phone Tools Version 4.0 for your PC. Install the package and upload Via the software program. The package contains a USB lead and the CD for £10 in England. Prices may vary in different countrys.
