After pulling my hair out because of my printers "Paper too Narrow" crap, I finally downloaded the corp. version of the drivers for my all in one. This fixed part of the problem. Before installing the corp drivers I could not print period. With the corp drivers I can print from my computer and align the cartridges.
The problem that still exists is I can't print reports or receive faxes without getting "Paper is too Narrow" error. I found a site that gave instructions on how to change the page diameters that are programed by the factory which corrected this problem when I had it before and was using the updated drivers for the 6110 all in one for home users. The problem is I am unable to find those instructions or the site of which I got them from.
My question is how can I manually change the factory set page size? I do remember it was a simple correction, like changing the dimentions of the page from 12.5 to 11. It isn't a problem with the eye otherwise I would not be able to use the corp version to print from my computer. I also remember it was a combination of 2 or 3 buttons on the HP that I had to press to get to the screen. Anyone know how to get to the factory settings to change the page size?
This seems to be a pretty comprehensive series of steps to fix your paper too narrow printing and fax problem with the HP 6110.

no, I need to change the dimensions of the paper that hp programed into the printer. So, when it the eye scans the paper the eye placement begins and ends in the correct spot. Thus reading the size of the paper correctly creating the correct page margins and eliminating the "Paper too narrow" error.
Basically, if it were a older typewriter with the sliding margin guides that you set so the typewriter stopped typing and advance to the next line before typing off the paper. Except these margins are pre-programmed into the printer.
I get the same problem. When faxes come through they won't print because the "paper is too narrow." Drives me crazy and isn't very good for client relations!
