If your model is the TFX27PFSM BB I only see a simple defrost timer. But not to say that you possibly have a bad thermistor that came on some models. Part number 305273 This is an alert so I would keep a close eye on freezer and refrigerator temperatures. The defrost thermostat may be defective and the light is warning you of a problem coming. Let me now if I can help you more, Thanks Sea Breeze

I have a Whirlpool Gold side by side bottom Freezer gi7fvcxwqoo. The refrigerator side is not Cooling very will. The freezer seems to be ok! Does anyone know what's wrong?

Either the refrigerator is too cold to run properly in the location of your patio, defrost failure. or air damper is not opening and closing properly. First I would like you to enter the control panel into diagnostic mode=> GI7FVCXWA GI7FVCXWB GI7FVCXWQ Diagnostic Test I am going to be here to assist you in locating the problem but because your model has so many electronic features I am asking you to do the diagnostic test first to help pinpoint any problem your refrigerator may have that can be located while in diagnostics. You may get the complete repair manual by contacting me HERE
The temperature of the freezer should be colder and around 0 degrees F. What is happening here appears to be a defrost problem. 12729123 Defrost Heater
another source here=> 12729123 Defrost Heater
I am here so please let me know if you have questions Thanks Sea Breeze

Model: TFX27PFSM BB Ice/water dispenser mother

The board will remove by prying at the bottom of the board . Sometimes I can use my hand only , pulling out from the bottom , to remove . Other times , I have to pry from the bottom to remove . Do not try to remove the dispensor frame , only the board .

Refergirator not cooling

Defrost system failure.

Defrost system: Freezer fan, Defrost timer, Heater, Thermostat. If any one of these are bad the coils in the freezer will get clogged with ice and not allow the cold air to circulate over to the ref. side.

Ice/frost build up on the back wall of the freezer is an indication of this problem. You can manually defrost with a hair dryer which will give you a couple of days before it starts iceing up again. Remember, the ice you see on the back wall is just the tip of the iceburg, there is a lot more on the coils behind that wall.

Freezer and refrigerator will not get cold - fan runs but not ver

You will need to check for frost accumulation in the freezer section. The rear panel inside the freezer will need to be removed. If there is frost either the defrost bi metal or the heater are open. If both are ok the defrost control needs to be replaced depending on the model some defrost controls are electronic some are mechanical.
