Question about Alpine CDA-9815 CD Player

Understanding the radio

I installed my CDA-9815 but I am having problems understanding all those numbers in the EQ and Cross Over section. Is there any way i could get some help in understanding what each set of numbers are for?

The volume is very low and I am wondering if there is a button or something that controls that. I have to turn the volume to about 19 or 20 to get good sound. Please assist, thank you.

I need to remove my head unit in order to install RCA wires & to run a remote wire for my amp. When I had it installed they did not give me the key back. How can I remove the head unit without the key?

Unfortunately you can't without taking the factory trim panel off. I would go to a local shop that sells Alpine. They might have spare keys that they can give you. Or, they might take it out for you. Just tell them what you're doing, and ask them to pull the deck out so that you can wire the RCAs.

I have a alpine cda 9815 cd player. it has an auxillary input, am i able to add a usb port connector to it? Or what parts should i add so i can play music through usb flashdisk. thanks

there is no option to add a USB port on this model. An alternative to use a usb flash drive is to use a MP3 with the auxillary input. Cheap MP3 with works fine too.

What can i use the auxillary cable for

yes you can connect it to an ipod/iphone or anything with an aux outlet. Some require an adapter to the plug but it'll still work.
