This is called screen mirroring and is easy when you have a smart television connected to your home network. There are videos and text based articles in the link. I reversed the Search Query to 'Connect my Samsung Android Tablet to my Bush TV', as I presume that is what you meant, because you want to see a bigger screen.

Quick Connect is such a good feature to utilize with your awesome Galaxy Tab 8.0.
In case you have yet to locate quick connect, here is a great Samsung support guide to get this feature set up. This link also highlights the second option to mirror your tablet to different devices.
If you are still having trouble finding quick connect, or connecting the tablet to the TV, I recommend a reboot of the tablet. A reboot of powering the tablet off and back on can sometimes refresh the system software, encouraging a fresh platform to connect from.
Depends on whether your tablet has USB to HDMI ability. You can also buy a converter however they require USB 3.0 and your tablet must have that capability.
Buy a compatible HD cable. Depending on your device this may vary. If you have a Samsung tablet, it will connect to your TV if your TV is also a Samsung Smart TV.
