Your lamp door switch isnt activated. either the door isnt secure or the wire isnt plugged in. Flashing orangy red LED means just that.

SOURCE: Status Light Flashes Red

first did you getthe lamp from miths and if notyou could have bought a bad lamp. you need to get a lamp form mits if you did not buy from them. if you did buy from mits have them replace the lamp it has a 90 day warranty. try hitting the menu and device / input buttons for 5 sec and repost the blink code. it is a 2 digits blink code. (ex. 23 or 33 or 26 like that)

SOURCE: lamp light (lite the color red)

Chances are its the bad capacitor issue on the power pwb, These symptoms will mimic a bad ballast. You can get a repair kit for the V26 PWB PCB at the following link which contains the replacement capacitors and a CD which identifies the board and capacitor location that needs the capacitors changed and also contains the Service manual on that CD, and the entire kit costt less than just the service manual anywhere else. They have free tech support to help you with the repair as well. Heres the link the kits are listed under the repair kit catagory.

SOURCE: My mit wd52525 is dead. Once

Hi,
Lets access the "Error Code Operational Check" to determine where the fault came from.
Note: The TV must be in "Shut Down" and not manually switched Off, to perform the Error Code Operational Check. When the TV is switched Off, the code automatically resets to "12" No Error.
Press the front panel "DEVICE" and "MENU" buttons at the same time, and hold for 5 seconds to activate the Error Code Operational Check. The LED will then flash denoting a two digit Code.
Note: The front panel buttons must be used, NOT those on the Remote Control. • The number of flashes indicates the value of the MSD (tens digit) of the Error Code. • The flashing then pauses for approximately 1/2 second. • The LED then flashes indicating the value of the LSD (ones digit) of the Error Code.
Example: If the Error Code is "32", the LED will flash three times, pause, and then flash two times. • The Error Code is repeated a total of 5 times.
Let me know the error code to assist you further.

New member here. I have a 62" DLP Mitsubishi model #WD6252. I've already replaced my lamp AND ballast and continue to have the solid red lamp status indicator. I've made sure the connection from th

Your color wheel is failing or has failed. the red light ONLY means the lamp cannot light or was forced to shut down. it means nothing about the lamp or ballast specifically.

If your color wheel isnt spinning up correctly or you have a stuck fan somewhere, the lamp will be shut down immediately upon startup.

Id check to see if the color wheel is stuck or if its getting stuck.

I have a 50 inch DLP samsung and it wont power on after making a lot of noise (I replaced the lamp) worked fine for a few days now the red light and the right side green light is blinking. any sugge

The answers above are correct. It's either the lamp or the color wheel. Testing the lamp is pretty straight forward. Use an Ohm meter to see if the it's filament has continuity. It's unlikely that a good color wheel would fail immediately after changing the lamp. Look to see if some wiring is out of place and rubbing the wheel causing the noise you described. A jammed but otherwise good color wheel would cause the TV to shut down and display an error code.

Optoma HD80 flashing blue lights

Sound like the original color wheel for Optoma HD80 is bad.

If the unit has been moved when hot.

If not, try un-plugging the unit for a few minutes and re-connect.

Hope this helps

Set worked fine when turned off. Now nothing happens when pwr button is pressed. Timer light does not come on. If system reset button is pressed, pwr led flashes for 60 secs. System is still dead. Status...

If your tv is around 2-4 yrs or used 6000-8000 hrs, never replaced the lamp before it could be time to replace it.If you hear strange noises like buzzing or humming noises it could be the color wheel which is a little disc that has a gamma of colors and spins at high rpms. When the light of the lamp goes through it creates the colors on your tv.The other most common failure is the board that powers the lamp, which is called the ballast. When its bad it will make a clicking sound or like wanting to turn on. For parts you can find them in partstore.com shopjimmy.com or discount-merchant.com God bless.

Picture went out completely flashing red status light 4 flashes pause constant

Most likely the lamp is burnt out (indicator goes to constant red status). Replace lamp (get lamp P/N from User Manual for replacement), clean any dirt around lamp, fan, and rear filter. Do NOT get any fingerprints on new lamp.

No lamp and a flashing red status light

The lamp has run out of its operating hours which is normally 3000 hrs. Replace the lamp and you will be alright.
