The original wire and every replacement is crap. I want to repair the one I have. I'm tired of buying them. All 4 wires broke off the connector and I need to know what terminals they connect to.

Here is the unit connector end. You may want to consider purchasing a usb to proprietary 30 pin adapter if you are going through cables so fast.
Thanks. I need to replace the wire anyway if I can't figure which pins to place the red and black wires and will consider your advise.

Red pin to 9/10 Black to 1/2 from what I see.

That is a mini useb connection. All you need to do is google mini usb wiring diagram... that will give you your answer.
