My wireless HP prn stopped working suddenly with NetGear router

My wireless HP printer stopped working suddenly. when I enter the NetGear wireless router (#WNP 824) network name and passphrase to re-set it up, it says WPA passphrase incorrect. How can I reset this passphrase? Please help! Thanks...

You need to go into the netgear router settings online with a computer that is attached to the router. You enter this:192.168.0.1 in the address bar to gain access.You need to know your username and password to gain access to the menu. Then check the wireless settings to see or change the passphrase. If the printer is connected via wireless it may not be set up correctly, as a network printer.
Connect it up via a USB cable to make sure it works, then change it to Wireless configuration and re-install it as a network not a USB printer.

Wow.... HAD THE VERY SAME PROBLEM .... a few hours ago here..... I believe the 306 has a touch screen ????? If so, using the screen, go to "Network", touch that, and then choose "WI-FI Protected setup"...... follow the prompts and you should have your printer back.... at least that's the road I followed when I found my HP-B209 gave it up after installing the WNDR3400 N600..... Also, do ya have a cordless phone in the immediate vicinity, like 'tween your PC and the printer ??? If so, move the phone.... could be hosin' up all those 1's and 0's........

Temporarily Disable MAC address
Open the Router page using the following steps:

1. Open the browser (Internet Explorer or Netscape).
2. Access the Router (usually "http://192.168.1.1";
or "www.routerlogin.net" or "www.routerlogin.com").
3. LOGIN TO THE ROUTER (User Name = 'admin', Password = 'password';
unless you have changed it).

and then click on advanced wireless settings...

Click on setup access list..
Uncheck "TURN ACCESS CONTROL ON"

This is the process to disable MAC filtering..

How to hook up this printer wireless to my main computer
Hi jjank740;

First off, did you try to recycle your printer? Turn it off and back on again. Sometimes power outages can disconnect that printer. If that doesn't work. Go to the printer and access the system network configuration on the led panel. Type in the WEP number and password again, and let it search for the connection. That should do it. Once it's connected you'll see the blue wireless indicator turn on.
