Hp printer 3845 /paper was jammed . i pulled out now its not printing saying paper jammed but there is not paper jamed

it sounds like your printer is not connected to the pc or laptop,check the USB cable properly.another problem is paper jam or which leads to qeueing of docs to be printed.

It sounds like your issue is a sensor is still not happy. Several things happen, but Long story short, you need to get REALLY GOOD LIGHT, get the printer on a table where you can work on it.....

So you need to inspect the entire paper path for foreign material, like torn paper. the sensing typically happens with little plastic levers. These levers get pushed out of position, and force a false indication. any dislodged lever needs to be put back, not necessarily an easy task....

Fortunately, most issues are some teeny tiny tear off of paper, wedged in somewhere.... Inspection and extraction fixes 90% of this issue....

Don't force anything.

If your printer for any reason reports a paper jam, withput going through the "clearing paper jam" procedure it may not respond to print command. So follow the procedure below:-

Clearing paper jam in a printer is simple almost seven step procedure depending on the printer. Paper jam is the term used to refer to the scenario where your paper fails to come out of the printer during the print process. When you send a document to the printer, normally the printer prints out the document on a paper; then you can pick up your printed copy. When the paper gets stuck in the printer, it is said that paper has jammed in the printer "paper jam".

Even if you are not a technical person, you can conveniently clear paper jams. All you need is to follow the set of procedures outlined below.

i think u should check for peices of paper ,tiny objects etc that might be obstructing the movement of the paper. also check that the print head is not disconnected from the belt you can check this by slidind the print head from side to side and ensure that both of them are moving hope this helps.

usually this indicates some foreign object on the opposite side where the paper goes in. Please check to see if you have some small pieces of paper or something else in the paper path area.

also, another possibility is that your pickup roller is missing, dirty or damaged. try cleaning it too.

open the front door and remove inkl cartridge then check thr is not any paper jam .thn refix the inkmcartridge.

To remove the jammed sheet of paper :

1. Open the upper front door.
2. Grasping the print cartridge by the hand grip, pull it towards you and slightly up to lift it out of the holder.
3. Then pull the cartridge straight out towards you.
4. Locate the feed roller release lever and gently push it back to release the pressure on the paper.
5. Pull the paper out. CAUTION! The paper may be covered with unfused toner, which can stain garments.
6. If you see no paper jammed under the cartridge, remove paper tray 1. The paper may not have fed all of the way into the printer.
7. Reinstall the paper tray and the toner cartridge.
8. Close the upper front door.

your printer need to be opened and check for any lever is struck or dislodge, it will be better if you send it for servicing

it needs a proper service as the moving parts are not moving freely .. or maybe when installing the cartridge you have damagaed one of the sensors .. it can be one of both
