Try to reset it to factory settings, if it does not help upgrade the firmware or if you recently upgraded the firmware downgrade it.

Phone not registered on network

Two things 1) enter settings and look for carrier and or network make sure it is switched to manual. Look for your network that you will to connect.i.e. EE or O 2 then select it.if it still doesn't connect. You may have an old sim which no longer useable or the phone's internal arial is not picking up signal or you are too far away from a mast.get a new sim try from a different location.a quick check is to dial 112 which is emergency services which will work anywhere without a sim but tells you the aerial is okay.but don't just hang up because they can pinpoint your location with gps and still send out someone so tell them it was a miss dialled number.

More than likely your IMEI number is removed or missing. Dial *#06# and if it isnt displayed or says null then thats why.....or could be you need a new sim card reader but id bet its the IMEI number removed. Thats what i am dealing with now.

H0w do you get unlock code for samsung galaxy s it keeps saying not registered.

You can get samsung galaxy s unlock code from your network provider, just call your network customer service and make request about samsung unlock code. To doing that process you must have a good standing account with them otherwise you will not get that code. Other solution, you can buy unlock code from third party sites. I hope my solution can solve your problem.
