Usb is not showing up on source - Alba LDVD1538WDCH LCD TV

How do i do that? It shows picture/movie on the screen but says no USB disk

Are you using a simple USB lead plugged into a USB power source? If so, the unit is (correctly) going into its USB mode.

You can also try different USB leads, some do not have the data line so act as just a power lead. It's the data line that signals the GPS unit to go into USB mode.

Regardless of the type of lead, your unit will charge like this and then, when the lead is disconnect and the unit turned on, will work normally off the internal battery.

If this is your experience, you will need either the correct GPS power source or a "USB power" lead.

Try changing the audio source/input on your car stereo to USB.

Did you press the 'Source' button until it showed 'USB' on the device's display ?

Vizio doesn't support phone connect - only USB drive (ie thumbdrive type) - With correct USB, TV will show USB as a 'Source' - and if selected will show the files on the USB, but can only open / view folders, images, and video types.

Hello, this device self feeds from the USB cable, doesn't need any kind of power cable.

First, check for the power source, there should be a light indicator on the panel of the modem, else, power is a problem, check your adapter/power cable. Next, is use USB cable/USB port, try to use other USB cable/USB port. Another option is to check your Control Panel - Device Manager, see if there is a USB Modem currently installed. Remove/delete the device from your Device Manager. Going back to Control Panel, select Add Hardware. If still fails to detect, your Modem is dead.

Few months ago i have same problem with my apple ipod classic 30GB.

My USB cable is short so computer show that, USB device canot be recognized. I haver replaced my cable. Problem will be in USB slot of ipod.

Replace cable. Problem will be solve.
