Sock stuck in the hose
Hi Robert, it's Jack at Dyson.
You should be able to remove the hose from your DC23 Motorhead, and use something like a broom handle or garden cane to dislodge the obstruction. Take care not to damage the hose as you do this.

Hi, this is Jim with Crucial Vacuum,
Detach the hose and stretch it out completely, if the sock is in a hard to reach place use a broom handle to push it out. Be careful to mind the edges of the hose you don't want to cause a tear, which would lead to poor suction.
