I need to replace a radiator reservoir on a 1991 Plymouth acclaim?

There are some ideas here, but who is your mechanic swapping all these parts out? Is your antitheft light on, does it have one? The number 1 reason for no spark is that the antitheft system needs resetting or a sensor has failed.

And check if any coolant got in the transmission. Have it professionally flushed if it did, or your transmission won't last long.

clogged air filter,replace,but my main worry is the engine is starving of fuel ?when was the car last serviced?this is not a big problem ,so dont worry ;be honest the car has not been serviced,[tip]filters,filters ,filters.adrian,,,,.

You got it right.
To determine which one is the right one:
1- Take ioff the thermostat, Run the engine without it. If water is coming out at the upper hose then pump is working.
2- Hook the upper hose back to the radiator without thermostat, run the engine and press the upper hose to see if coolant flowing throu it. If it is not then , the radiator gets clogged up.
3- At this point , you know what to do. One advice is that, get the new radiator if it is bad. Don't waste money to have it rebuilt. Good luck.

I had the same problem with my 1991 Plymouth Acclaim 3.0 liter engine. Check to see if your SBEC (computer located next to car battery) has gone out. Replacing it should solve your problem.

your radiator cap is what controls the flow to your overflow tank. good luck.

hi there here is the answer to your question.....the heater motor or blowere motor is located in the dash under ur radio..it will be an easy find once you have removed the radio...let meknow if u have any other questions thank you

Hello **** B. First double check the hose connection for the leak, it can drain to another connection & appear to leak there. Second, yes there is a gasket on the pipe connection to the block. To replace the gasket, park the car in a location for least 5 to 6 hours to cool down mabe longer. Have the gasket replacement, a tube of gasket sealant, 2 gallons of antifreeze, a drain bucket, and a very large rag or rags. Remove the hose, catch the fluid in bucket, remove the pipe, clean the old gasket area, apply gasket sealent, attache gasket, mount the pipe, tighten all mounting bolts a 1/2 to 3/4 turn each until torqued downed evenly, and attache hose. Fill reservoir, with radiator cap off, start engine and add coolant to radiator until full and you see fluid flowing. Apply cap & check for leaks. Easy???????? Good Luck.
