My ipod touch is cracked!!

Phone repair shops can replace the screen. But it will cost. Knowing Apple is lowering the price for the new iPod Touch, I think you should try to fine out what a repair will cost and then decide to a repair or buy a new one.
You also could visit ifixit.com, because they show how to repair yourself. They also know what a new screen will cost and sell tools and spare parts if you need so.

Get it repaired, and try not to dro[ it again!

The display can be replaced at any Apple store. Do not worry about the information that you have thrown away. Apple will be able to pull all of the info that they need by either connecting the device or using the serial number on the back of the ipod touch.

You could get in touch with Apple Centre in Glasgow 0845 686 3100 or Cancom in Edinburgh phone number 0845 686 3100 and they will advise you of cost. It will probably be expensive though. You will probably need to equate the price with a new screen adn the potential of buying a new one.

Yes, the screen is the expensive part in the ipod touch, it may cost you around 200$ for new screen and around 50$ as labour...

i have heard that if you take it into a apple stor they can fix it but im not suer on taht.. im dealing with the same problem.

my screen on my ipod touch is cracked from one corner to the other...it still works fine, but doesn'tlook very good. my limited warranty hasn't expired, but i don't have the apple care thing. I don't know what to do! please help.
