Sounds like a shorted yoke return coupling capacitor look for cap values .22uf to .56uf at 200 to 400 volts or similar markings ezamples 224j200, 474k200, 564j250 numbers ahead of the letter is capacity 474=.47uf the letter shows the tolerance J=5%,K=10% Numbers after the letter indicate voltage. If this cap is shorted it will short horizontal B+ to B- through the yoke when it is connected. use an ohmmeter check from Horiz.output transistor collector io B- with the yoke connected if near 0 ohms disconnect yoke & check again in high or infinite the cap is shorted it's located in the low side of the yoke.if you need further help i'll need a model number.
