SOURCE: KLH SUBWOOFER - RECEIVER-SURROUND SOUND -5 SPEAKER HOOK UP INSTRUCTIONS

Had the same problem with KLH E-10D Preamped Subwoofer. Afte brief research, I found the problem was with my Pioneer VSX-D509S reciever settings, not the subwoofer. If you have the same reciever, you can go to the pioneer website to download specific model owner's manuals.

Select your Pioneer reciever model and it will give you an option to download the pdf manual. Hope this helps.

SOURCE: Simple question?? how do I connect my Panasonic subwoofer to my denon receiver?

I have a very similar problem with the same exact Panasonic sub. I went to Best Buy and Radio Shack looking for an adapter, and they basically told me that one does not exisit. Apparently, Panasonic designed the home theater system specifcally so that it could not work if any part of the entire system was ever seperated.

SOURCE: how to set up a soundbar with a subwoofer

The subwoofer deals with low frequencies, which are not very directional (ie, it's harder to tell where the sound is coming from).  So where you put it isn't critical to the sound, provided that it's not behind curtains or something that will soak up sound.  The bigger speaker you have in your subwoofer; the less important the position is.
Putting it in a corner is something you're going to have to try, but you may even end up with better bass if you do, as a corner can act as a soundbox and emphasise bassy sounds.  Conversely, your subwoofer may not like being in a corner and interference effects from the sound reflections could degrade the sound.  Like I say, try it and see what it sounds like.  It depends upon your subwoofer, what else is in the corner, precise positioning, and how reflective to sound the corner is.  If it sounds terrible, move it a few inches and try again.

You can put it in front of you next to the TV, no problem.  The only downside it it's a big ugly box.  My wife always makes me hide my subwoofers behind something.

Samsung HW-F551 soundbar switches off with error PROT!.

Sound drops out from the wireless subwoofer. The sound on your wireless subwoofer can drop out if there is interference or a physical obstruction between the soundbar and subwoofer. Make sure the subwoofer is within range of a good signal of your soundbar, and that the issue is not with the source audio.

Subwoofer deconnects

I have no experience of wireless speakers but I think you should contact the seller, if the unit is still under warranty or perhaps the support section of the manufacturer's website.
Certainly do read the instrucion manual.

I am guessing but either the wireless signal is being lost (depends on the function of the blue light) or the subwoofer is malfunctioning after a few minutes and the built-in thermal or overload protection is switching it off. The thump sound could be it trying to switch on again and finding the fault is still present.

Just my thoughts...

Can't sync my JBL SB400 subwoofer to the soundbar??....it flashes blue and goes back to orange. Sound bar works but can't pair sub!..HELP!!

PAIRING THE JBL SB400 FOR WIRELESS OPERATION
After turning the soundbar and subwoofer on for the first time, you will need to "pair" the subwoofer and soundbar so they both operate at the same wireless frequency. To pair the units, press the Wireless Pairing switches on both units within 30 seconds of each other. The units will communicate with each other and operate at the same frequency.

Subwoofer not working.

Most likely, the "remote" wire to the subwoofer amplifier has come off or is not making good connection.
