Check if the PS (Postscript) light works, which can be found on the right side on the metal panel above the power plug. If reloading the postscript driver doesn't work, then the Electronics Module may be defective.

You can also try printing to the USB port to isolate the computer network and network interface of the printer. Make sure whether you need the 64 or 32 bit driver.

One question-- Is this message you got on the computer? or the printer? http://www.support.xerox.com/support/phaser-8500-8550/downloads/enus.html?operatingSystem=win7x64

Can you give a little more detail?
are you getting an error number? is this happening when you turn it on or send a file to it? try using another program and see if it stilldoes it

try updating your printer drivers, update the printers firmware
and see if it continues

My SHARP AR-M276 Printer keeps displaying PageError: PostScript printing not licensed for this printer, after downloading and installing the driver. How can I rectify this?

PS license is sold separately as an option for the Sharp Copier. You can contact your Authorized dealer. Or use a PCL6 or PCL4 Driver. If you are having issue printing from a mac then depending on the version you will need postscript, or an aftermarket PCL generic Driver made for macs.

I am unavailable to connect via network

Most likely paper size is wrong. Push the cont. button on printer.
Adjust paper size on trays correctly. Make sure document size is same as paper size esp for PDF and postscript documents

A sheet prints sometimes with this: ERROR: syntaxerror OFFENDING COMMAND STACK: In one flow we get this error and in other flow it works fine. Any help on this will be greatly appreciated.

This is a Postscript error. You may be using a Postscript driver on the printer. Or else you are printing PDFs which are not true Postscript. likely made by a postscript "compatible" software.

Try loading a PCL driver for the printer. This will work just as well if not better than a postscript driver. You may find it faster.

Check lexmark website under support andd downloads for an alternative driver for the printer, also considering your operating system.

If you are printing PDFs or postscript files, the PCL driver may help there also.

"Error: PostScript printing not licensed

You have to down load the pcl 6 driver for your machine model from http://support.sharp.net.au/drivers/ and install the printer, because now what you installed is ps driver thats why it is not working, rate this and vote for this.

Mac laptop hooked up to HP laserjet 4 plus gets error message:

This printer will not work with a Mac - it has no postscript.

The only laserjet 4's that work with Macs all have an "M" in their name - 4M, 4M Plus etc.

You might be able to get a Postscript personality module for the printer to effectively upgrade it to the "M" version.

Error 6911

You'll have to use google.com to translate this because I don't speak Spanish, but I used it to translate your text into English.

What you're seeing is PostScript being output to a non-PostScript printer. Mac OS 9 LaserWriter driver prints only PostScript. Make sure you've downloaded the correct driver from HP, and then make sure you're selecting the HP driver in the Chooser.

Please let me know if this information helps or not.
