LG 29 inc crt tv all ok, but running in tv the picture is background black and pic not clearnce , pic became dim i change to the bass , and i do resholdring , but same position what is the problem ?

Picture BALLOONING? I haven't heard this type of fault to any brand TVs since 48 years of my service work in this field.

If CRT is weak, it should be replaced. There is no repair to it.

You don't have a deflection yoke problem, you have a pin cushion problem. Check the pin cushion transistor.

Your TV model has only NTSC system with it. No PAL or SECAM. It is not a mutisystem compactable one. Check whether your DVD has NTSC playback option. If it has, you can see discs writed in NTSC system through your TV. If it has not equipped with that system, it is useless for your TV. Sony KV32FS120 and KV36FS120 models are only meant of US standard, and have only NTSC system with it. Ok.

yes it is due to dry solder in vedeo driver section(a board fixed to the pict-tube.).

This may be a CRT problem. From what it sounds like i.e. dim picture, colors not bright. If you have a background in electronics I would tell you to check the voltage levels on the CRT pins and compare them to the values on a schematic, however if you do not have a background in electronics, I would suggest you taking the TV to your local TV repair shop and have them troubleshoot your problem.

Here is a possible list of things that might be wrong:

1) CRT going bad (The shop can try CRT rejuvenation if needed)
2) High Voltage on the anode not at proper levels (The shop can check this with a HV probe)
3) Video output levels low (The shop can check the voltage and signal levels on the CRT socket board, and on the video amplifiers.

These are the three primary possible issues.

The problem that is happening is due to the shutdown circuit activating, which is an indication of excessive current flow. This may indicate a problem in the High Voltage section or in the power supply feed from the HV section. In any case this problem is best dealt with by a trained professional. I would suggest that you take the TV to a qualified TV repair person and have them check it out.
