How do I connect my Wii to the Colortrak 2000?  I've plugged it into the input 2 section in the back of the TV but I can't get the display to show.  Is there a certain channel I should be on?

Did you try changing the input on the TV? Depending on the TV, it is usally labled which "port" it is. For example: You plug the Wii into Input 2. You'll have to change the input via the television remote to 2 in order for it to work. Look for a "Source" or "Input" button on the remote. If you are unsure which input the Wii is connected to, cycle through the Source or Input until it comes on.

Let us know if this doesn't work and we can troubleshoot some more.

If the cable box is hooked up to the same type of interface as the Roku or PS3, I would swap the connections and see what happens....

If you have the Insignia NS-42L550A11 (inputs shown here - http://www.bestbuy.com/site/olspage.jsp?id=cat13506&type=page&h=387&skuId=9595066&productId=1218131141674&navigation=prev&count=3&chk=true - or something like it), you might have a hard time plugging all of your devices into the TV.

Your DVD player might have a Component Out - if so, plug it (all 5 plugs) into the "Component" section of the TV. If you don't have a Component video cable, you can simply use a couple of Red, White, and Yellow cables instead - just be sure you connect the proper ends so the colors from the DVD match the colors to the TV.

As for your Wii and Playstation - I believe they both have the simple Red, White, and Yellow output plugs (labeled "AV IN" on the back of your Insignia). Because your TV only has 1 input for "AV IN," you might need to purchase a switch of some kind that you can plug your Wii and Playstation into and the switch will have 1 set of Red, White, and Yellow plugs to hook into the TV. The other option is to simply plug and unplug your Wii or Playstation directly to/from the TV depending on what you're playing... not an ideal scenario (particularly if you don't have easy access to the back of your TV.

I am guessing that you mistakenly plugged your Wii console cables into a component input section, rather than the normal AV or AV2 input. You can easily tell this by finding out which input station you have to select with your TV remote. If it is component 1 or 2 then your problem you plugged the cords into the wrong section. If you notice in the picture that the component are red, green, and blue, and the AV are red, white, and yellow. The Wii hook up cable is made for the Red, White, and Yellow. Just use a flash light and make sure you are plugging them into the right spot.

ok the setup you are using is a Receiver, TV, and Wii unit .

Step 1: plug one HDMI cable into the back of the Receiver unit on slot 2 name on it is called HDMI out jack
if looking at the back of the unit this slot is 2nd from the top left

Step 2: now plug the HDMI cable into the TV this is the cable you just plugged into the Receiver
TV done

Step 3: Wii Setup move the Yellow,White,Red cables over to the right if looking at the back of the unit 2 spots name for this group is called AV out Jacks .
Wii Done

now use the right input channel for this group and you should now See Wii playing .

Take the adapter cable from the Wii that plugs into the back of the Wii and converts the output(audio/video) into RCA style pin plugs, you will have: RED=right channel audio, plug it into any of the red audio INPUT on your Onkyo, then you will have WHITE=left channel audio, plug it into the other white INPUT jack next to the red plug on the Onkyo, then you will have YELLOW= video(picture) that will go directly to the yellow video INPUT on the back or side INPUTS of your TV.
Then when you want to play the Wii, set the input mode on the Onkyo to the inputs that you connected the red and white plugs into, then change the input on your TV to which ever the input is labeled on your TV in which you plugged the yellow plug into, you now will have sound comming from your Onkyo and the Wii up on the TV screen ready to play. Connect the Wii to your television. Then connect the variable audio output from the TV to the audio in on the monitor section of the receiver. Then use the TV/SAT input selection on the receiver and dolby prologic 2 as your sound mode.

Are you connecting you Wii to a progressive scan TV input (2 for audio (red)(white), 3 for video (yellow)(blue)(red)?

It's possible you have the red audio and red video inputs switched.

If you have the regular AV-Cable (2 for audio (red)(white), 1 for video (yellow)), and your TV has 5 inputs (progressive), look for the 3 inputs (2 for audio (red)(white), 1 for video (yellow). If it doesn't, connect it to a VCR and run the Wii through the VCR input.

The AV Multi Out plug that is included with the Wii will allow you to connect the console to most televisions or video cassette recorders (VCR). First, look at the back of your television AND your VCR and see if you have colored holes label "Input". Though most TVs have them, almost all VCRs do as well.

Connecting to a VCR, DVD-R, Cable Box, etc.

In order to connect a video game system through a device such as a VCR, DVR, cable or satelite box, it must have Video and Audio "inputs." While most VCRs and VCR/DVD combos have these inputs, other devices typically have "Outputs" which will not work for playing your Wii console. Please verify the device you are attempting to use has these holes.
While many cable/satelite boxes and DVRs may have "inputs," accessing them can be difficult. Please consult the instruction manual for the device you are connecting to, for more information.
