This remote control have no set-up code to digital stream. To select a proper universal remote control, you should know about the number of digits to its set-up codes. There are 3 digit, 4 digit, 5 digit, 2 digit and even single digit codes, to some brand devices. After confirming this, check the sites linked here. Both the sites have set-up code list and set-up procedure to many popular brand remote controls. Check which brand remote control has set-up code/s to your device brand, and buy that one according to availability.
Brand name of the remote control isn't a matter, but it should have set-up codes in its code list, to the device brand you have.
Please note: Every new universal remote control will have set-up code list, and set-up procedure along with its pack. Never accept a remote control, that hasn't both of this. Not a complete solution, but, around the last page (pg. 14) of your converter box manual there are codes listed for universal remotes. I happen to have a Philips remote that is listed. My code to control my dtv box is 0354. It appears that they have all codes listed for all Radioshack model universal remotes. I would suggest getting a Radioshack remote for Your "Digital Stream" (Radioshack) dtv box...

1. Manually turn on the component you want.
2.Press and hold the TV, DVD etc the illuminated component names turns on.
3.While holding the compnent key down simultaneously press and hold the ON.OFF key - the illuminated name turns off.
4. After holding down both keys for 3 sec, all components name stay on.
5.Release both keys. the component name remains lit.
6.Press and release the PLAY key, wait for 5sec, the component will turn off. If component does not respont continue to press PLAY every 5 sec until component turns off.
7.When the component turns off, then the correct code is blocked. Press REVERSE key wait 2 sec to see if component turns on again.
8. Once component turns on then use STOP key - now code is stored.
Note: use FORWARD KEY AND REVERSE KEY to go front and back on the code search.
