Some of my bible books have double scriptures, why? Particularly, the book of Philippians when I open it shows 2 of each scripture. It's not all books just a few that do that.

many of the proverbs through the bible are by various writers through the ages,tho mostly written in ancient Hebrew and Aramaic.king solomon the son of david,is quoted for many,but there is no apparent recognition to a particular individual,except that all scripture is inspired by 'GOD' and is for teaching,reproof,and inspiration.
