Hello there,
For you to be able to save contacts on your sim card, what you need to do is to go to the menu of the phone, select the phonebook option, from the phone book option, scroll down till you see settings, then you select it, from there you will see the memory in use, select it, from there select the sim card. Once that is done, your contacts will be stored to the sim card directly.
You can also go to the menu, select phonebook, select the option from the list on the screen, scroll to settings, the you see the memory in use, from there select sim card and that way, your contacts will be stored to the sim card.
All the best.

the main reason for that is that you have a double entry of names in your phonebook or you save the same name and numbers in the phone memory as well at the sim card.
delete one of them either in the phone memory or in the sim card and your ok.
hope this helps you. Dont forget to rate me. Thanks...
This happens when two or more similar (saving one number with different names) contacts is saved on your phonebook, i.e. if you've saved my number on the sim card with a name and at the same time you have my number (same number) on your phone's memory, the caller id will not be displayed, you'll only see the "Incoming Call" or "Call". So I would suggest you to please check the phonebook and delete (keep only one per number) if there are multiple similar contacts saved on your phonebook.
You can also reset the phone to Factory default, in case there's no problem with your phonebook/contacts.
To find the phone book of you're sim card follow the step's:-
1) press meny key
2) Select phonebook.
3) Press menu key.
4) Select sim phonebook.
You will get all the contact's in the sim phone book.
well usually before you add a contact it asks you where to save it to the sim card or the phone unfortunately if u save it to your phone you cant just pull out the sim and put it in the new phone you need to save contacts and anythingels u want transferred to your existing sim card
go to your phonebook through the main menu system then go to management and you then have the option to copy from phone to sim or sim to phone hope this helps
cheers
Paul
most of the SE phone have two types of contact saving
1- in phone memory
2- in SIM card memory
if u have contacts saved in SIM memory but u r using
phonebook memory then it is default
if u save any contact in phone memory u have an option too
to copy it to SIM memory
for deleting a contact it will behave like this:
for example, u have a contact saved in phone memory
as well as in SIM memory
if u delete this contact, then it will be deleted from phone
memory but not from SIM memory
and when u are called from same number
(which is not present in Phone memory but is in SIM)
it displays the name again
The razr that i had could only store 4 numbers on the sim card, your phone book is stored on your phone's memory not your sim. I'm pretty sure that you cannot transfer your phone book over to your sim card.
