My Samsung wb31F camera is showing file error I don't know what to do

I need more detail about what you are doing though. Are you removing the card and placing it in the computer or are you connecting your camera to the PC using a USB cable? If it is just the photos you have on the card that are messed up, try to copy the photos you can see to the PC. Try to transfer them all to a folder on the PC. Sounds like you tried to view these before and removed the cord connecting to the computer without using the "safely remove hardware" function.

The camera will not display photos that have been edited by something else. Rotating counts as editing. Just opening a photo and then saving it without doing anything else counts as editing.

regarding the use, you have to check if you are using the right memory card for your camera.

you can only use 2GB sd card or 4gb sdhc card.

try this and if you still have an error message. you better send the camera for service.

Possible solution:

I had/have the same problem using L200 and SDHC memory card, called Samsung. Can't view certain pictures on camera or computer, camera freezes when viewing those certain pictures, green light flashing.

Samsung support told me that I needed to copy my (good) pictures to a computer first because a memory format will erase everything. Then format (menu->settings->format->yes) my memory card. Tried this just now and took some new pictures, so far so good.

i would just upload all of them to the computer, then clear the camera

I've had some errors on my discs. What I've found is after you finalize them, if there is still room on the disc you can initialize then and use the empty space still on them. This can also fix some error, and I don't know why.
