Please see the Reset the Default Factory Setting please read it the Detail I have a WAP4410n wireless access point, I have reset it to factory default by pressing the reset button for 30 seconds. I am able to ping its default ip 192.168.1.245 through its default ssid "ciscosb" if I configure my static ip was solved by connecting through the lan cable, and setting manually the ip to 192.168.1.0/24 network, and accessing 192.168.1.245 through web, the reason why the connecting through WiFi was working because the management web access through wireless is disabled by default
Thanks

1. Hold in the reset button of the router for 30 seconds. 2. Unplug your power cord for 30 seconds 3. Plug back your power cord4. Wait for a few seconds then release the reset button.
NOTE:¨ When holding in the reset button, make sure that you do not release it until you are sure that it has been compressed for at least 30 seconds or more.

After changing the administrator password then you will need to enable WEP or WAP security so your nosy neighbors aren't tapping into your wireless network. I am picking up 4 networks with my pc antenna.

I have done a hard reset for my router, I tried the suport page but it did not help... I want to know the default username & password.

To access the web-based utility, launch the web browser on your computer, and enter the Gateway's default IP address, 192.168.1.1, in the Address field. Then, press Enter.
A login screen appears. Use the default user name and password, admin, unless you have changed them during the Setup Wizard. (You can set a new user name and password from the Administration tab's Management screen.) Click OK to continue.
