Not needed. The Bogen already has bass and treble controls.

the coil pack on the four cylinder is located under the metal cover on top of the engine. There are four bolts and one large connector on the drivers side. Once the cover is removed you will see the ignition coil housing, also common to fail. You will need to remove the housing to access the 2 coils.

on the 6 cylinder the coils are mounted to a bracket near the back of the engine. Pretty easy to spot if you follow the spark plug wire to it.

If you have fire to the coil but not out out of the coil, the coil is usually bad. However on mid 80's Hondas, there is another common, but little-known cause. The connector on the wire going to the spark coil gets loose, corroded or both. Pull the connector off and inspect the tab connector on the coil. This connection has to be the cleanest and best connection on your cycle. If the connector tab on the coil is not shiny, polish it with emery cloth and push the connector back on. If it is not the tightest connection on the Atv, squeeze the female connector so it makes a tighter fit when you push it on.
BTW in my experience, this is the leading cause of ignition failure on Hondas more than 20 years old with with CDI ignitions.

might be something as simple as changing the spark plug or related wire, could also be damadge to the valve train or piston and cylinder bore

because its a dual subwoofer. wire it in serise or parallel and both work.

The Kicker L7's come in either 2ohm or 4ohm dual voice coil (DVC) versions.

Whatever amp they are connected to, you need to know both the impedance of your L7's and the impedance of your amp. The L7's dual voice coils can be wired to provide a total of four different loads:

2ohm coils in parallel = 1ohm load
2ohm coils in series = 4ohm load
4ohm coils in parallel = 2ohm load
4ohm coils in series = 8ohm load

Your best connection would be the one that results in a final impedance load that is supported by the amp.

leaking water pump was standard for that year.
Changing it without changing of taking of the cam belt shouldnt be a problem. but wen u get the new water pump make sure it the same cause in changes from serise 1 to serise 2

Coil packs are relatively common failures on the B5 A4, although it's usually on the four-cylinder turbo. Swap the coil pack with another one on the bracket, clear the code, and then run the car and scan for codes. If the code doesn't change, then the problem is plug or wire. If it follows to a new cylinder driven by the same coil that is currently failing at cylinder four, then it's the coil pack.
