Xbox 360 power button keeps flashing and disc tray wont open

When i turn on my xbox 360 the power button keeps flashing and the disc tray is not even budging to open when i press eject.

Try turning off the 360 then turning the xbox on its side, turn the machine back on holding the eject button and the power button together for about 30 secs then the machine should function normally

My games wont play and it says open tray
You have dirty laser or bad laser or dirty disc drive period. Try cleaning laser with qtip. If that doesnt work keep the disc drive apart and hook it up to the 360 make sure not to let your disc drive ground out anywhere on the 360. Hit eject button and close tray seeing if the laser even goes up with the tray. If it doesnt try greasing the rails and gears in there where everything slides.

My xbox 360 disk tray will not open it wont even open a little some one help me
have you tried to open the drive using the xbox dashboard, when you press the eject button does the power light flash? is there any noises coming from the drive when you try to eject.

It could be a faulty drive and the only way to get into the drive is by opening the console up and this could void your warranty. if your hearing noises (motor spinning) from the drive it could be the drive belt has snapped (like a small elastic band) you could have dirt in the gears and cogs jamming the drive. so you wouldnt hear noises (except the disc spinning if there is a disc in it).
if the power light flashes when you press eject more than likely it is the drive belt or dirt in gears.

Disc tray will not close
Unplug your 360 from the main power source and make sure there's is nothing that may be preventing the tray from closing completly
