Print is blurry and faint. I have replaced ink roller numerous times.

A feint print is usually caused by a blocked or empty toner.

if you printing is just faint, need to replace toner, but if your printing is faint and blurry, need to add grease to the fuser film roller, need advanced skills for that, disassemble the fuser unit take out the fuser film and put some special high temp grease on the heating element, assembly all back and install, the other way is replacing the fuser unit

INK ROLLER REPLACEMENT

If printing is blurry even when the ink roller is in the proper
position, replace the roller.
Ink roller: Type EA-732R

WARNING
APPLYING INK TO WORN INK ROLLER OR USE OF
UNAPPROVED INK ROLLER MAY CAUSE SERIOUS
DAMAGE TO PRINTER.

1) Turn the power off.
2) Remove the printer cover. (Fig. 1)
3) Remove the ink roller by turning it counterclockwise and
pulling it upward. (Fig. 2)
4) Install the new ink roller and press it in the correct position.
Make sure that the ink roller is securely in place. (Fig. 3)
5) Put back the printer cover.

Also, try to preform a maintenance on the cartridges. To do that, on the control panel of your printer, press on the Ink Levels > More Options > Deep Clean Printhead.

The new ink roller types are EA-781R-BK (Black) and, EA-781R-RD (Red).

To change the ink rollers.
1). Set the power switch to off.
2). Remove the printer cover. The little paper guard or, flap on top.
3). Remove ink rollers by turning each one counterclockwise and, pulling upwards. With the calculator facing you. Red is on the left and, black is on the right.
4). Install the new ink rollers in there correct position's. Simply press them in one at a time and, make sure they are secure.
5).Put the print cover back on.

If calculator prints blurry, the rollers may not be not secure. If you have any questions about this calculator simply post a comment and, I'll respond quickly.

Your inks are gradually drying out. You should have them refilled or replaced. When inks begin to finish up in the cartridge, each time you print, part of ink that has settled at the bottom prints, and if the the material you are printing is sizable the bottom part will come out faint or faded out.

Most likely the printer has been sitting for along time not used or you have used cheap replacement ink. Epsons are notorious for clogging the jets with cheap ink. unfortunately replacing the ink cartridges will not help because the jets are seperate from them. If cleaning numerous times does not work your next best bet is to buy a cleaning ink cartridge for your model. otherwise youll need a new printhead or new printer. If your going to use cheap replacement cartridges stay away from epson.

I have a Casio FR-1211 Printing Calculator and I have the same problem. I removed the roller and tried inking the roller with "Sanford's Roll-On Stamp Pad Inker". It works beautifully ! I don't know how long it will last, but for now the print is dark and clear.
