The start/pause button is flashing

Obviously, an alarm is displayed after some time.
The alarm is displayed by a repeated flashing sequence of the START / PAUSE button with yellow and red light (0,5 seconds on, 0,5 seconds off with a 2,5 second pause between the sequences).
• button indicator START / PAUSE with yellow light indicates the first digit of the alarm code (family)
• button indicator START / PAUSE with red light indicates the second digit of the alarm code (internal number of the family).

I see that you are looking to reset your Electrolux washer due to the fact that the "Start/Pause" button does not appear, and you can't start your laundry. You can reset this appliance. What you will need to do is either unplug it or you can shut the power off at the circuit breaker. When you do this you will need to leave it off for at least 2-3 minutes. Cut the power back on, start any cycle. If you are still having trouble not being able to start the washer, I suggest either contact the manufacturer or your local authorized technician. Hello terry_gwen - Based on the symptoms you are describing, you may either have a communication error from the main control board or the timer itself may not be operating correctly. I understand that the filter has been cleaned, however, if you noticed a humming noise, it could either be a clogged drainage hose, or it could possibly have another issue with the door lock assembly. I would personally contact a professional to accurately diagnose the washer to determine the root cause to reduce the risk of unnecessary parts.

During machine operation it is possible that the end light
4 flashes= the door has not been closed
2 flashes= the machine does not empty
1 flash= the machine does not fill.
Once the problem has been eliminated, press the START/PAUSE button. In the case that the blown fuses due to consumption exceeding 10 amps and also have problems with the front cover microswiche which is not activating when you close the door. You should check the condition of the engine and change the microswiche of the door. Remove any objects from the pump impeller by rotating it.

turn the dial to off. Press and hold the start pause and the nearest option button. While you're holding them down, turn the dial one notch clockwise.
The machine will beep or flash, let go of the buttons. Release the buttons, then turn the dial slowly, stopping at each click until you get to "off". Now, turn to any setting, then turn to off.

Now, try the machine. If it works, I'm very happy. If not, perhaps someone else can help.

you need to turn machine on and hold the option and extra rinse buttons simultaneously for 6 seconds, the symbol will go and you'll be able to use your machine again as usual

Press and hold the 'Delay' and 'Extra Rinse' buttons together and it will 'unlock' your control panel (this is a tamper proof feature for the kiddies)
