Hi! I just inherited a Lanzar OptiDrive 1400D amp. Can anyone direct me to the Lanzar authorized or service centre in Singapore as I intend to send in for a general servicing. Thank you!

SOURCE: cannot send a txt. service

you must insert the message center number in the message settings....

to get the message center number follow the steps below...

1. call to your network provider customer care
2. ask them for the message center number
3. note down the message center number
4. insert that message center number in the message settings
and save it...
one this completes it will not ask you for the setup while sending messages..

after this you can send the messages successfully without any problem...

So many manufacturers overrate their amplifiers. Nothing like Zed Audio from the 80's and early 90's. The old school amps like a Rockford Fosgate Punch 45HD, 75HD or 150HD will blow most subs apart now days. Check Ebay. I just shocked my teenage son and his friends yesterday with a Punch 75HD hooked up to his 15" Kickers. They were in awe. your output of the amplifier have been distorted. I suggest you take this to a reputable service technician that has experience with lanzar OptiDrive old school Rockford Fosgate or Orion. These technicians are hard to come by nowadays but they definitely are worth the money that they charge. I happen to be one of those such technicians.

How to wire 2 opti1533d by lanzar with the optidrive 2000d amp? how do i wire them if i put 1 amp on each sub

your speakers are 1 ohm per voice coil, dual oice coil. your amp is no lower than 2 ohms stable mono.

the proper way to wire this so that you do not burn out the amp is to run the 2 vioce coils in series. run the positive lead from the amp into the positive lead of one of the voice coils, then run a jumper wire from the same voice coil's negative lead to the same speaker's 2nd voice coil's positive input. then run from the 2nd voice coil's negative back to the amplifier's negative speaker lead.

you will be running for each speaker/amplifier set: amp + to terminal set 1 +, terminal set 1 - to terminal set 2 +, then terminal set 2 - to amp -

Want to buy a Capacitor 50mm x 35mm 390 uF 400 volts DC

look in the yellow pages under electronics supplies wholesale.
that is a big capacitor. you may have to parallel 4 100uf @450 volts to make that value.

did you check the fuses on the side of the amp? put voltage meter on b+ should read 13v, take it to service center to have checked out, may have some prblems inside
