My thoughts on this are that the T-con module has a problem. The T-con module controls what the LCD is displaying. It could be a bad solder connection where it eventually works. Here is my trick, (45 years in the TV business).
Remove the module, small board in the center of the TV. has two ribbon cables that attach to the screen and should be under a large heat sink. Preheat your oven to 390 degrees, I place the part on a pizza stone and heat in the oven for just 10 minutes and no more than 10 minutes. Remove and let the part cool for 45 minutes. Put back in the TV and test. Hopefully this works, if not order the board from ShopJimmy.com. I have had success with this procedure on numerous occasions.
There is no problem with the computer..Its actually a screen saver.
If you dont like it you can change the settings
Right click on desktop on empty space Go to properties Click on screen saver Now if you dont want it select none from the drop down menu OR if you want a screen saver select select anyone of your choice and you can also set the time that after how many minuted you want the screensaver on Click on apply and then ok I hope this fixes your problem,If it doesn't please reply
You probably have one or more bad CRT's causing the problem. Due to the age of the set and cost of repair, I would not invest the money needed to repair the set properly. I would replace all three CRT's and the cost would run over 1000.00 up to 1300.00 .
With the cost of new sets today, you could replace it.
I hope this helps,

2 THINGS CAUSES THIS PROBLEM ON THESE --- THE BLUE PICTURE TUBE HAS LEAKED FLUID ON THE CIRCUIT BOARDS ,,,THAT 'S BAD

The problem is that you might not have sufficient memory. Try burning @ 8x. Burning DVDs at 16x is a speed higher than the speed @ which file transfer takes place within the pc. So the lack of availability of memory slows down the proces. I once had the same problem.
Well, first thing would be to turn off screen saver. Right click on the screen anywhere, go to properties, screensaver, from the pull down check none, apply and close. May need to reboot.
then let's see if it's a screensaver problem.
Good luck
Pix looks like a light pipe issue, inside the Light Engine. as far as the shutting down, could be a bad fan causing the grinding and when stopps the DMD turns the set off.
