SOURCE: my 800 watt kenwood

Sounds like you shorted out the main power wire somewhere and killed the amp. Is the amp on the fuse intact or blown? Do you have 12 volts at the amp? check you connections and see if it helps.

SOURCE: red protector light

Try this first:

Amp in Protect - Troubleshooting

If nothing there helps, you need to return it to the seller if it's under warranty.

Let me know if you have any other questions.

SOURCE: car amp blows 12 volt wire fuse

the wire from your battery is blowing fuses? and you are using 20-30 A fuses? mine has a 100A fuse..look into getting new wire plus my wire is 4 gauge.., 1600 watts is too powerful for a 12 g wire and a 30 A fuse

SOURCE: can a 1000 watt amp run 800 rms subs and best wiring option

yeah it will run them but you won't get your full power because the rms for your subs is high. try bridging them with some 8 gauge wire, and of you got a crossover it will help you out alot

Red light will not go off on my daul amp 800 watt hcompacitorhow to fix blown channel

That sounds like an interesting piece of equipment. If the fuse is not blown it probably is an output transistor. Take it to a service shop.

I have a 2500 watt legacy ice amp and im tryin to hook it up to two 900 watt rms soundstreams daul voice coils whats the best way

If you amp is 1 ohm stable you can run + to +, - to - on each voice coil. Wire them into the box. Run +'s to +'s on amp, - to - on amp

Other wise. If it is a 2 ohm stable amp, you run two 4 ohm dual voice coils to the amp + -, + -

If the subwoofers are 2 ohm, run + - on only one voice coil to the box for each and run + -, +- for 2 ohm load on amp or + - bridged for 1 ohm load.

I hope that makes sense.

Need to hook up to a 4000 watt amp

Why would you hook up 4000 watt amp to a speaker that has only 1000 watts. Try a 800 watt amp instead unless you just dont want the spealers.

Speaker amplifier calculation

for $85 i can sell you an Almani 900 watt 2 channel amp i would stay way away from those 3 brands they are all really poor quality and i can get you any major name brand cheaper.
I can get you a hifonics 4008 amp (800 watts peak 100 watts per channel rms) for $100 shipped with full factory warranty. you find an amp you like and i will get you a price. I am a factory wholesale distributor for most brands.

Amp getting really hot

Disconnect the speaker wires and the RCA jacks from the amp.

If it still gets hot, the amp needs to be repaired.

If it doesn't get hot, check the impedance of the speakers and make sure they're wired properly.

If they are wired for the proper impedance, check each voice coil with an ohm meter to make sure none of the voice coils are shorted.
