The dirty water is stored in the area that surrounds the clean water bladder. If it is not filling with dirty water (which it should do fairly rapidly), you have a suction problem. Try checking the lint filter. It is located in the top clear plastic section (the one with the dial to switch from floor to tool use) and is located on the underside. It is a small red plastic filter (1 inch square) and it has a little door on it. Flip open the door, remove the hair, carpet fibre, etc. that is clogging it and you should have suction.

Hoover floor mate h3000 will not suction water from floor when cleaning

Your collection canister may not be positioned tight enough in its place ment site. Tip machine back using foot pedal (as if you were going tio start using machine to clean) Insert collection canister (bottom container, then insert top canister with solution. The two canisters must be flush with machine side seams and must sit in position tightly. This is sometimes very tricky and may take a little elbow grease to make it click into place. Hope this helps

No steam or water even coming out, its just quiet except brushes moving

David, the brushes on the motor may be burned out and the conduction process has been compromised. In short the motor is bound up and won't turn. This can happen if surface debris collect on parts of the motor. Do not turn it on for long and let the unit get warm as it will eventually break down permanently.
If you need a manual, go the company web site and seek that from customer services.

I have a Bissell Proheat 2x cleaner which has worked perfectly on every occasion. Today I filled the machine as usual with water and formula and switched on, the motor ran, the lights were on and the...

Please check the following with liquid in both tanks.

- Check to see if the machine will spray through the hose with the setting on tools. If it does, the pump is fine. Continue troubleshooting.

- Check for debris on spray tips. Clean them with a soft brush (on old tooth brush works well). The spray tips may be lifted out for easier access.

- Ensure the tank lid is properly attached to the bottom of the tank. To attach this properly, remove the Water Tank from the machine. Hook the front window onto the lip of the bottom container and then allow the window with lid to cover the complete tank. Secure the latch on the back of the bottom tank to the back of the tank lid. THE TANK LID CANNOT BE ATTACHED PROPERLY IF THE BOTTOM TANK IS ALREADY INSTALLED IN THE MACHINE.
- Check the bottom of the Water Tank and the Formula Tank to make sure each has a red auto-load gasket attached. Make sure the Water Tank and the Formula Tank are seated properly. Depress the x on this gasket to ensure this depresses and release back out. Liquid from the tank should dispense.

- Remove the handle completely and re-attach. Once the handle is re-attached, re-attempt to spray.

If the machine continues to not spray, check the following:

REMOVE THE COLLECTION TANK:
• Make sure the unit is set to water rinse
• Remove the smart mix bottle and fill it with water only
• Place the smart mix bottle into the collection tank reservoir
• Run the unit and try to spray. If the machine sprays, you will be able to see the water level decreasing in the smart mix bottle and you will need to replace the bottom tank. It is possibly warped.

The Hoover Steamvac Widepath will NOT pick up water. The dispenser with cleaner DOES have water. The TANK that would receive the dirty water is NOT full. All tanks are on properly and the machine will...

Sounds like a clogged air path (no vacuum action) from the floor pick-up to the collection tank. Take the tanks off and deal with the vacuum problem alone. The collection tank should have a air exit vent--is it clear? Check the interior hose that you repaired--is it clogged? Remove the bottom plate and inspect the air path from it. Because this machine deals with water, clogs can become like concrete! Hope this helps!

Tank not collecting dirty water

You most likely have a break in your suction hose. check at the base where it attaches. When you bring back the handle release, you can see lt. If you have the type that has the external plug in for the water, then you probably don't have the hose part plugged in to the collection tank. in the front of the collection tank. Your motor shut off? Well, If you have the first variety cleaner w/built in hose, you may have sucked water into/onto your motor. If this is the case you need to bring it for service. otherwise, you could have a blockage in your collection hose, this would also explain the machine shut down, from the thermosat. A clogged machine will ultimately overheat, wont run again till cooled.
