1. Press the HOME button.
2. Scroll down to Settings.
3. In the Personal section select Parental Lock (Broadcast)
4. Enter the Master PIN (9999)
5. Select Change PIN Code and change it to your desired PIN.

How to lock or unlock channelsTo lock or unlock channels:

1. Press the Menu button on your remote control.
2. Select Settings.


3. Highlight System and press OK/Select.
4. Select Parental/Purchase.
5. Enter your Parental Controls PIN.
6. Select Parental Preferences.

To lock or unlock all channels:
Select Lock All or Unlock All and press OK.

To lock or unlock specific channels:
Select Block by Channel > Add or Remove Channels.
From there you can select to Lock All, Unlock All, or
select specific channel(s) that you'd like to lock or unlock.

Hi, This sounds like a parental lock issue. Try going into the set up menu and press the down key choosing custom by pressing enter (this is in the user manual page 20 - 22) then go down and select parental. If you know your parental control password code then enter it, if not the reset code is 4737 you will then need to create a new 4 digit code,There are 9 levels to choose from 1 - 8 and all, all being the selection that removes the parental lock. hello Lock/Unlock Parental Controls
Selecting this option lets you lock and unlock parental controls settings
using a password.
If you do not lock parental controls, none of the settings for V-Chip,
Channel Block, or Front Panel Block will take effect.
If you forget your password, press the MENU button, then select Parental
Control (the password entry screen appears). Simultaneously press and
hold CH+ and VOL+ on the front panel for 8 seconds. Parental Controls
unlock and the Parental Control menu appears. You can enter a new
password by locking the Parental Controls again.
Front Panel Block
Selecting this option lets you block (disable) or unblock (enable) the TV’s
front panel. The remote still tunes to any channel. When using this as a
Parental Control method, remove access to any remote that is capable of
operating the television while you have the front panel blocked.
Don’t forget to lock parental controls after you change the status. If you
don’t, the front panel block will not take effect .if this don't work get back to me i've got manual good luck

The factory preset override code for the parental lock is 3308. This code, however, will NOT remove the parental lock code in place. This is just a code to get around the lock. I'm not sure how to dissable to code someone else entered...still trying to figure that out!

on some channels the colour on the tv turn just a little bit blue and the colour doesn't some times come out right, wot do i need to do?
