Software currepted, has no recovery CD

I have Toshiba Tecra M2 model but have lost the recvery CD. Myson has started the computer with a game CD inside it and the software got currupted or erased . This message is coming. Now what to do or from where to get or download recovery CD.

i insert my kingston flash disk in my toshiba laptop and after i used it i acciendintaly click the Eject instead of Safe remove. but i cant remove my flash Disk.so im pressing the Power Bottons and turn it on. my Operating System of my Laptop is Windows Vista Besic. When I power on and Laoding the Welcome Screen but after all I got A black Screen In my Desplay.. anyone can Help me this Problem? if im using Recovery Disk is thier a Possible that my Files in Drive c: where Lost??

You possibly can still order a recovery cd set from manufacturer at a cost assuming warranty has expired

the recovery cd's I have purchased from other manufacturers before , usually costs approx $25.00 to $35.00 US Curency

You will need the serial number from your laptop when calling for the recovery set

IDE #0 is your disk-drive.
IDE #1 is your CD/DVD drive.

So, take your computer to a qualified technician, to first check that the connectors (power, data) from the motherboard to the CD/DVD drive are good, and then, if necessary, to remove & replace the "dead" drive.

You can download them from Toshiba here
You'll have to have the complete model number of your Tecra M2-???? to find the correct set of drivers.

How do i restore to factory settings?

I have researched Toshiba website. They do not list replacement system DVD/CD there. Did find a listing on Ebay but the item was sold. Checked the manual and there is no information on restoration within it. The result is that I do not see any easy answer for you. You could contact tech support @ Toshiba, generally pay for the call and requrest from them the restoration software. Or you could buy XP CD install the CD and acquire from online the drivers for the computer. Regret that the choices are not better.

Google password recovery software and choose from the hits. I can't recommend one as I've never used it. If that doesn't work for you, you'll have to reinstall the OS from another CD. Sorry. :-(
