SOURCE: What does a F09 error mean?

Since Sears doesn't manufacture its own equipment I need a product code number to access the specific features of your appliance. Email me with that info and I can find what the error codes are.

SOURCE: Whirlpool Duet Front loader

"F02" is a Long Drain error and "F09" is an Overflow Condition. The following two links explain both errors:

http://www.fixya.com/support/r615268-f02_error_code_whirlpool_duet_kenmore

http://www.fixya.com/support/r805532-f09_error_whirlpool_duet_kenmore_elite

The common factor with both links is the drain pump. There's a good possibility that you have something lodged in the pump. The next link explains how to check the pump for obstructions:

http://www.fixya.com/support/r385845-checking_drain_pump_in_whirlpool_duet

Follow the links and check the items common to both, as this could be the source of the two error codes occurring. It does not take much to damage the drain pumps in these washers. If you do find something in the pump, clean it thoroughly, and it still does not work, you will have to replace it. Let me know if it comes to this point and I can give you advice on how to order a replacement and how to replace it. I hope this helps you.

SOURCE: Whirlpool Front Loader Washer Model# WFW9600

I had a suds error and then a F 35 error. Turns out I had a collection of junk and debris between the door seal and the drain at bottom of door. Cleared out the debris now my washer is running like a top. (washer senses pressure error, thats why I got said error codes)

Error message : e01 f09

First try holding down the cancel button for 10 seconds and releasing (might have to do this 2~3 times). The technician manual is located under the lower front panel. I've heard that locating the CCU (brain box, in lower right) freeing it up and giving it a couple of wacks has worked. F09 is pressure switch, E01 is Thermistor. The tech manual will be a great help!!

Whirlpool front load washing machine F 09

Hi from retired Englishman in SW France,

In general for Whirlpool washers 'F09' means 'overflow'. I would guess that there is a problem either with the water level sensing, with the control board which controls the operation of the water valves or one of the valves itself. Sorry but repair call required ;-0(

If this has at least clarified the situation please consider a 4 thumbs up for the rating.
Thanks and good luck!

My front loader washing machine shows F 9 on the digital screen which relates to water leakage. I have had this problem recitified previously, wherein water somehow leaked into the bottom of the machine,...

Hi from retired Englishman in SW France,
Sorry but Whirlpool 'F09' does state 'overflow'. It could be that the overflow sensor is being a bit keen i.e. malfunctioning, and needs a service call ;-0(
Sorry again,

F09

Hi,

Thanks for using FixYa. Error F09 means heat fault. Please check that the filter is not blocked. The filter should be emptied after every load and/or cleaned once in a week thoroughly. If still the issue is not resolved then you’ll need to get the heat sensor replaced. Please do rate the solution if the issue is resolved or post a comment for further assistance.

Thanks

Whirlpool 6.5kg front loader 2004 model. On any cycle machine won't pump water into tub and brings up an error message of F09.Electrical control board has black scorch marks on it.Would it just be cct...

Hi,
You can check 1. power supply first then you can check 2.the door lock is working fine then you can check 3.the motor 4. the drain out valve 5. inlet valve is working fine with direct power supply
If every thing is fine means check the main board of the unit then you can replace that cct board
