Re: How do I get pictures sent and received in text?
Change the parameter for your MMS Service by the following steps.
Go to Menu => Message => Settings => Multimedia message => Profiles => Activate the profile of your operator
For prepaid SIM, please make sure that you have enough money loaded for this service application. MMS messages cost a lot more than a regular text message.
Please be noted that the size of the MMS file to be sent or received has a big factor on phone's performance in sending and receiving MMS. If the MMS couldn't be sent out successfully, please try to decrease the file size and try again.

hi, all you need to do is contact your service provider and ask them to send you the correct internet and mms settings they will send you these for free and they send them via text message this will then update your phone to the correct settings and allow you to receive picture messages.
Its the mms settings that are wrong on your phone so once they send you these via text message this will then update your phone and will then solve your problem.
Let me know how you get on or if you need further assistance ok
When you port a number over from another company then you begin to have
issues receiving texts from that previous company. They can re-port
your number for free if you explain it to them and they talk to the
department that does the number porting, but if you use FlexPay then
they can't "re-port the number". They usually are willing to change your number though. Have the service books resent to the Verizon user. If they are sending pictures, make sure you can receive those from your provider. Try this also: [email protected]
Put your number in where it says phonenumber on the link. You need to have mms multimedia messaging. By default cricket users
that just have text messaging do not get a email addy. The txt msgs are
routed by crickets network.
On every phone there are settings that can stop you sending texts. However all phones should still receive texts even if all the settings were changed. As the text message is directed to you mobile number you should still be receiving?
When you compose your text and select contact does the phone move them to the out/sent box?
Settings to check for sending are your 'message centre number' (your network provider can supply and they are normally different for pay monthly and pay & go) 'Message sent as' should be 'text' (not fax or email etc).
Text problems are common where people change or delete digits from the message centre number by mistake.
If you cannot receive texts i would recommend speaking to your provider for help as it may be your account details at their end? (beyond your control). Hope that helps?
you need to format your phone so that you can receive messages again...input this code *#7370# and then click yes...enter your security code...after that your phone will reboot...it will automatically on..so please wait until the phone open..after that enjoy texting again..hope this will help you
