HP Pavilion dv6226us computer sees belkin 54g, shows all bars, when tries to connect says it has low signal and cannot connect. I have tried everything as I am pretty good with computers. Last night I even went to the router page and logged in. I checked everything. I changed the SSID but nothing else. I've dropped the firewall. The computer was connecting wirelessly until 5 July 09.
HP Touchscreen iq770 was working fine with my wireless HP Officejet 7700 until 6 July. Now I cannot connect to it either.
I have reset and rebooted the router.
I have shutdown the whole network, in sequence, waited 30 seconds and brought it back up in sequence.
I have reset the bios on both computers.
I have reloaded the printer software on the Touchsmart.
My only option is that it is the router.
Make sure that your router is set for an "encryption system" that is similar to all your computers and mobile devices. Example, if your router is set to encrypt using WAP2, make sure all your devices connect and is capable to connect using WAP2. Or else, set it to WAP and set your devices to WAP also.
