Hp plotter 110 plus printhead alignement

I replaced printhead and now i am getting slightly staggered lines on the plot. The wierd thing is when i plot a print report directly from the plotter itself the lines appear to be straight but when i plot drawing from computer it staggers. i have run printhead alignment but it fails halfway through every time so it never finishes. I am wondering if because it never finished running it doesnt get far enough to align printheads? But if thats the case why does it print correct when i print the log directly from plotter? HELP

I cleaned the encoder strip but that did not do it. ANy other ideas? Like i said i cant get it to run through the entire head alignment page. My yellow cratridge is out and it stops before it gets to the red. I am wondering if thefact that it doesnt get through the page means it doesnt get a chance to line up.? Any ideas. Thanks

SOURCE: Prints in staggered columns

What you describe is typically caused by ink aerosol building up on the encoder strip, a thin band of plastic that the printer uses to keep track of its location.

You can gently clean the encoder strip as shown at HP's website here. Be sure to heed to cautions and notes. Do not use any solvents other than water and be gentle to avoid damaging the encoder.

SOURCE: Black printhead out of line. Prints staggered lines

A long story, short answer: probably you have a problem in your printer. You should take it to a repair service and hoe repait kit is available for this model.

HP 1050C Plus shuts down prior to plotting

09Bxxx is an internal error. Probably a bad Hard Drive or Main PCA board. Hopefully it's that Hard Drive because the main PCA board is EXPENSIVE.

Try replacing the Hard Drive, check to see if that fixes your problem. If not, then try replacing the Main PCA.

Sorry, and Good Luck

Hp design jet 750c plus. while plotting auto cad drawing,i command it to plot black/white (mono) but it plots all in color instead.I selected mono button on the printer as well.

Your plotter driver needs to be set to either black or greyscale. The driver will overide the settings on the plotter unless you set up the plotter in manual. ie the pen thicknesses, colour etc are set in the control panel to manual. The driver takes priority always.

Why does the plotter use color even if we do not plot in color?

If you print in some CAD programm try the following....
Paper:Plain
Print Target:Line Drawing
Color Mode:Color CAD when the CTB is color and Monochrome when the CTB is monochrome
Resolution:Draft 600
For your situation use CTB monochrome and ColorMode Monochrome.
The print head prints max resolution 2400X1200

Incomplete plot from .pdf file - Hp DesignJet 1050C Plus

Was the plot originally done on a size D or E plotter.. A .pdf is generally not a good way to send a plot that has to be done to scale.. Can they re-send the plot in a hpgl format, or a format that you can use in another program, liks ACAD, and then print it through that program? This would provide you with some control, that a pdf document will not allow.

This is just a stab in the dark for me, but I am familiar with plotters in general, just not the many formats to print from..

HP 755CM

**you need a good driver:
whilst ordinary printer drivers may treat plotters like very large, slow, desktop printers, our driver uses the native vector graphics capabilities of your large format plotter to render CAD and line drawings at maximum speed.
