Hanging problem hi guys, i have N72 which gets hang when i press a key to use it from standby mode or when the light goes off, and after 10-15 seconds it gets normal. plz help me.

just dial the below number
if it ask for phone code type 12345

#*7870# resets the phone settings to default.
#*7370# full reset

use these method hard reset
2) Press these 3 keys simultaneously: CALL key, ASTERISK key (i.e. *), THREE key.

first remove your memory card

(note all your data ill get lost )

512mb memory only required for that unit..if still hanged you need to format your mobile...

try... removing ur memory card and try opening the gallary..
if still it dosnt open then u need a full phone format

best solution is just format it...

your handset needs a software upgrade,
use nokia pc suite to upgrade it OR:
take it in to be flashed.

your cell phone is infected with virus you want to HARD FORMAT, switch off your mobile phone 1st, then press and hold 3 keys at a time star key, green dial key, and no. 3 key. then switch on your phone.
do not unhold all three key's until nokia's logo come's [hand shake] . it's done. you have to select your city. mean's your phone is virus free now.
[get backup of your contacts and messeges before formatting or you will lose your data]

i think you need to format your phone 
ok try following steps:reboot your phone when they getting reboot press = green button(answer key) + 3 star key(*) 
but befor that make sure that your phone data will be lost above procudere may restore factory settings of your phone

Try changing your battery and see if it solves the problem.
You can also get it formatted if this is a virus issue.

If these steps doesn't help you may need to get it checked.
