Question about OEM Systems Computers & Internet
The reason you have none of these is that when you upgrade, you don't have the drivers already installed. You must install a video, audio, and network driver. The OS usually can provide a generic video driver so you can work out the installation of all the needed drivers. Unfortunately, your machine is old enough that the manufacturer does not support Windows 7 with drivers. That being said, try using the VISTA drivers on the website instead. Many Windows VISTA drivers work with Windows 7. If you cannot get satisfactory results, there may be help available on the web from the chip manufacturers themselves (Realtek, broadcomm, etc.) Otherwise, you may have to go back to VISTA or replace the notebook.
