Burning smell when running

Your best option is to replace a 25 year old appliance. the cost to repair will far exceed the monetary value of mixer.

My whirlpool ultimate careII quiet wash washer stopped working in mid cycle. It won't agitate, drain, spin, fill with water, nothing. The washer makes a humming sound and an electrical burning smell.

If your smelling electrical burn.. It's most likely to be the motor is bad.. Or just stuck, new washers made today are DC motors and contain a circuit board in the motor.. And are not serviceable.. Just replace them..

Pinnacle Pellet stove augre gets stuck

hmm, could be low power to the motor, heavier power cord, or it's possible the auger needs new bushing/bearings, wiggle the auger to see if it has any play in it OR it's fussy about the size of pellets it made to feed. please send pictures and or results.

CLUTCH PLATE LINING BURNED OR GLAZED OR BURNED OR SMEARED RESIN how long will it continue to work. is it seriouse.

Not much longer in your 25 year old vehicle. Burned means it is slipping. As such the face is wearing away and will soon expose the rivets which will dig groves into your fly wheel and clutch plate. The longer you wait, the worse it will get.

To repair, expect to resurface or replace the fly wheel and the clutch pressure plate as well as the clutch plate and throwout bearing.

The light bulb burned out after 25 years and we've tried 3 replacement bulbs to no avail. Please advise how to light our dark refrig. Thank you, Will

Will, this is a simple repair. Your light switch has burned out and it's a very easy repair. If your unit is 25 years old, you'll want to keep this around as long as you can. They do not make them to last this long any more.

Just contact us with your brand and model number and we will get the correct part out to you right away.

We look forward to working with you.

Dryer won't start 7yr old dryer, was working fine yesterday, today was making strange buzzing noise while running, stopped it to check, and now won't turn back on.DEAD

Sounds like a defective motor starter contactor. DO NOT continue to try to use the dryer or you'll burn the motor out. The motor starter is built into the motor, but most are replaceable without replacing the entire motor.

Could also be the motor, but sounds like the motor is stuck in 'start' mode and never goes into 'run,' which would be the classic symptom of a stuck motor start contactor.

Kitchen Aid 10 speed 325watts

Some of the gears may have broken or slipped off. You'll need t open it up to see why the shaft from the motor will not spin or you will burn out the motor with the power on trying to make it go. It might be a DIY job if you can see an obvious problem like a slipped gear, otherwise take it to a repair specialist.

Burning

A guess: either there is something in the fans, stuck in the tubes or the belt is being held in position by debris causing it to burn.
