I have a Swiss Eagle women's silver SE - 6026 & the second hand does not run during normal operation of the watch. It remains at the 12:00 position. How do I get it to work?

What looks like the second hand is the timer hand and starts when you push the top right hand button, you can download the manual for the watch off of the swisseagle website.
The bottom right will stop it so you can record a time and then when you push it again it will jump on to where the timer is still running to show the current lap time, but if you push the top right button a second time after initially starting the timer it will just stop the timer and then pushing the bottom right button will reset the timer to 12.
Hope this helps.

Have a nivada grenchen womens watch but it is not running and is missing the dial. Can it be fixed it was my mothers?

Adria it will be very difficult to find the dial and parts to get it going. YOU might be lucky if only cleaning can get it going but without a dial? Also check with manufacturer for help due to sentimental values.

How do I set the day of the week dial on my Swiss Legend Chronograph?

If the day will not change when you pull the crown out to the first position (try both directions) then pull the crown out to the second position. Advance the hands until yesterday shows in the day window. Now set the date by putting the crown in the first position and set it to yesterdays date. Now advance the hands (position 2 until the date and day change and then set the time. Done

Setting date on my swiss 200M women's watch

mcdevito75 here, If your watch has a stem (winder) it is most likely 2 position, Pull out stem to first position, this should allow you to change the date, set the date at 1 number before the actuall date you want, NOW pull the stem out to set the time, rotate the hands until you have the date and time for the actuall date.

Why isn't the second hand on my Wenger Commando SR not working? The red seconds hand is not moving. The small seconds counter of the chronograph works and the minute and hour hands work.

The large seconds hand will remain at 12 unless you press the upper right button to start it. Pres again to stop it and press the lower button to reset it. The small seconds hand that always runs is the seconds for the time. The large seconds hand is for the stopwatch function. If you like to have it running all the time just start it and leave it running - it won't harm the watch.

After sending the first Wenger Commando Special back due to a faulty battery, I have just received the second one only to discover that on this one, the minute timer hand (big yellow hand counting seconds)...

Before sending it back, speak to the company (if you haven't got instructions for the watch).

I think what you want is normal but you need to know the details of your watches' procedure to do this.

The second hand on my chronograph will not index properly when reset

Try this or some variation as it worked with my new Wenger Chronograph.
Pull the crown out to the first position (for changing the date) and press the top button - one of the hands - either the big second hand, the little minute hand, or the little tenth of seconds hand - should move one notch. Keep pressing until it reaches the desired position. Now press the bottom button, same process. Pull the crown all the way out and press the top button, same process. Then if that still hasn't solved it, crown all the way out and press the bottom button. Each position should correspond to a hand, and each press should move it one notch. When settled, push the crown all the way in and operate it normally.
Be careful not to press buttons when changing the date or time, and don't bang or shake the watch too hard while using the chrono. Also, don't play with the buttons or press them one after the other too quickly.
