Will not tune in chanels.

Auto program doesn't find any. Direct input won't work either. The antana works good with other t.v.'s. If I hook up a VCR or converter box on chanel 3 or 4 it won't work, but if it's hooked up with RCA jacks it works fine. I'm thinking it's the tuner on Bord A or the RF antana switch.

I changed the complete A bord out of a working one with a cracked screen along with the RF along with the RF antenna switch (pictured) and it still won't tune in any channels. Not even if I hook up a VCR on channel 3, nothing. What could be the issue? I have a KDF55WF655, could I change out the whole chassis and put it in the KDF60WF655?

SOURCE: lost remote reset chanels

the great thing about sony is you dont need the remote to do menu functions. there is a flip down panel in the front that has the menu, cursers, and select buttons. just select the tab you need in the menu (channels) select the type of input (cable :on/off) then auto program. be sure to have the VCR off so not to program the channel 3 only.

SOURCE: chanel button or sony kp-51ws510 51 in rear projection

the circuitry within the TV is where your problem is. thats why your remote wont work it either. Could just be he wire arent pluged in completely or you could have a bad resistor on the control panel PC board. Hope this helps. Let me know if I can assist you any further.

SOURCE: Sony projection tv with dual tuners; only one tuner appears to be working now.

To verify that the tuner is the problem, move the cable from the second to the first. If you don't get a signal, the tuner is bad. The main tuner is part number 859843000 and is available for $47.38 from tritronicsinc.com

SOURCE: sony str-dg820. having a problem getting video on tv

Hook up Composite / Component Monitor Out wire from receiver to TV video input because receiver will not change analog input into HDMI
You need to connect receiver and TV through analog video terminals as above.
Actually you are expecting that receiver will convert DVD player and Xbox analog video input into digital HDMI signal for TV and This is incorrect.

How do you hook up cords to cable box & television

WELL IT SEEMS U HAVE TWO PROBLEMS :
1ST YOUR rF SIGNAL IS NOT GETTING THRU , THIS IS A ROUND CABLE WITH A SCREW ON END TO IT , THIS ONE MUST 1ST COME INTO YOUR HOME AND GO TO CABLE BOX , THEN LEAVE OUT OF CABLE BOX AND ENTER VCR THEN LEAVE OUT OF VCR AND GO TO RF INPUT OF TV ( HAS TO BE HOOKED THIS WAY WONT WORK ANY OTHER WAY) SET OUTPUT OF VCR TO CHANEL 3 SET OUTPUT OF CABLE BOX TO CHANNEL 3 SET TUNER OF VCR TO CHANEL 3 , AND LAST SET INPUT OF TV TO rf CABLE ,CHANEL 3 , NOW YOU CHANGE CHANELS ON CABLE BOX only
2ND YOUR DVD PLAYER HAS NO RF OUTPUT SO YOU NEED TO CONNECT BY ONE OF THESE MEANS (HDMI, RGB, COMPOSITE) ALL THESE REQUIRE A DIFFERENT CABLE YOU DECIDE , THERE HOOK UP IS PRETTY MUCH ONE WAY SO I WONT ELABORATE ON EACH METHOD , BUT TV NEEDS TO BE SET TO CORESPONDING INPUT TYPE YOU DECIDED ON

CANT GET CABLE CONNECTED RIGHT

Hook a VCR to it with a tape playing and make sure the VCR RF switch is set to channel 3. Then do the auto search. If it still does not find channel 3, then your TV has a bad tuning circuit.

Sharp VCR hooked up to cable tv, i/p to vcr then out to tv.

I believe that I have the solution to that problem... When you are hooked up to cable or dish and use a VCR, you MUST have the program you wish to tape playing on the Cable or dish program, therefore the VCR needs to be tuned to channel 3 or 4 {whichever is the unused channel in your area) I believe that all you have to do is make sure that the TV is tuned to the channel you wish to tape and program the VCR to Channel 3 (at my area) or channel 4.

I hope this works for you. I have VCRs hooked up to all my sets and this is how mine work.

Getting my VCR to record from the TV with a converter box hookup

Hook up antenna to converter box then from that out to the vcr's input (red, white, yellow connections are better than coaxial).

PURCHASED 52" LG LCD HAD A GREAT PICTURE.ALSO HAVE DIRECTV. TOUCHED THE MENU BOTTON SAW THE AUTO TUNING, THOUGHT THAT WOULD BE A GOOD FEATURE. WENT AHEAD AND LET IT RUN THROUGH ALL THE CHANELS. NOW IT...

Because you have DirecTV there is no need to use auto tuning. You simply changed inputs on the TV when you started auto tuning. Just use the input button on the remote to go back to the Direct TV receiver. Most likely it will be under Component (Color Stream) or HDMI input.

Programming panasonic vcr

First, check in the VCR setup and see if it set for cable or off-air/broadcast/antenna (not always named the same).  If it is set for off-air... then it won't tune cable channels beyond 13.  It must be set for cable mode in order to tune those upper channels (mid-band, superband etc.).

I assume you have the VCR hooked up correctly- cable into VCR antenna/RF input, VCR RF/to TV output to the RF/Ant input of the TV.
